I'm working on the ScriptOlympics Beginner challenges and I started thinking. What really is considered beginner. Getting into functions and events, is that a beginner topic? Or does it end at vairables, property editing etc.
Any direct ideas for Beginner Challenges can be put here too. |

Some things to note on..
*Includes basic things, such as tables, variables, and functions. *The contestants are required to use at least one line relating to instances and properties. *ROBLOX Wiki usage is allowed. *The code can be messy, although neat code is preffered. |

| Sure. I'll be more than welcome to set the other requirements as well. Is it OK if I participate in the advanced competition and judge for the beginners competition? |

well I wouldn't really limit what the beginner challenges are allowed to do so long as it completes the challenge. Just make sure the challenges are ones that aren't too difficult.

How about a GUI that will display player health, user id, and position real-time? That would be a good beginner task. |

For beginners,
I'd do simple stuff such as Instancing, functions, and tables,
BUT
have them use them in situations or 'Scenarios'.
EX:
Make a calculator with addition, subtraction, division, multiplication, and square root support.
MAXIMUM LINES:
30

@Raiden
But what about line wrapping?
while wait(1) do print(5) end |
