Car's just been put out of fire, and I'm really covered in soot. There's two stretchers rolling out with people from the truck, and apparently it's even worse in the front car, everyone's unconscious. There's a tire, rim and all, sitting in my ditch, and there's glass and a whole lot of things on the street from the accident. I would be lying if I said I wasn't panicking a little bit.
Might not even go to school tomorrow, just because of how much debris there is [or at least i'm kinda pathetically hoping]. I've measured it, along with a neighbor, and it measures at 50 feet edge to edge. Also, there's about 4 fire trucks and like 5 ambulances. They're getting the jaws of life out, too, for the car in front.
help. |

| First thing you need to do is stop panicking, just relax and breath, then see if they could use any help, I doubt it but attempting to help will ease your mind a bit. |

| I put out a fire, and actually freed a passenger using one of my tools. I'm panicking, but I'm not freaking out. |

| Just keep calm and continue to help, keep busy, it will help keep your mind off panicking and you may be able to do some more good. |

They weren't actual body bags. They looked like it. Essentially one man was able to walk away, and four people are unconscious. Person driving the truck has two broken arms and a broken leg. The three in the car are still knocked out, and one was in critical condition, and the other is in a very terrible condition, so much that they aren't risking moving him by flying him out.
Yeah. Terrible. Nothing on the news, and probably it will be nothing until someone dies, if they do. |

Mate, I've been in two wrecks but nothing like that. The only guaranteed advice I can give is to stay calm and let the authorities do their job. Frankly, I'd advise that you stop watching as well. Read it in the paper tomorrow, it helps the sense of detachment. Also, talk to someone calm, sympathetic, with a matter of fact view of the world, preferably over the phone. |

I'm not freaking out, nor panicking anymore. Like everyone's packed up and gone except for the lone ambulance.
Kinda late. |

I'm still gonna recommend that last one then. Especially if you're prone to nightmares. |

| Not really. I mean, it hasn't really effected me in anyway, shape or form, except I put out a fire pretty much, and managed to open a door. |
