Okay, first, be me. Have Skype friends (And IRL friends) who play really fun PC games (Planetside 2, Battlefield, etc.). And, oh yeah, have really low end PC. Like, oh my God, this isn't close to a gaming PC.
One day my mom suggested she get her friend to upgrade my PC for my birthday, and I thought it was the greatest idea ever. I unplugged my computer and sent it to her friend. While it was supposed to be gone for a couple days, I ended up waiting an entire week just to get it back.
And you know what? It was just as crap as it was before.
I got an extra GB of RAM and an old as SH*T graphics card. A GeForce 8400 GS, that was made in 2007, and it costs $30 online. This is all I got for my birthday. A DOWNGRADE. IT WAS UTTER GARBAGE.
You might say "at least I got something" or "be glad you even have a PC", but it's really hard to even appreciate this. |

| Brotip: Never allow anyone to "upgrade" your computer unless you're directly watching it. |

I've decided to just buy and customize a completely new one from Ironside. I heard that the same person who "upgraded my computer built one for gaming but eugh...
I'll probably just ask for the specs, and buy from Ironside. I heard they do really well. |

| And here's another tip for people looking for new gaming PCs. Don't buy from Alienware. |
