i don't understand it tbh
like it should be a small group of people who prefer one generation of genre
imo most people who say that are trying to be cool or unique by saying "rap is terrible if u listen to it ur a terrible person" or "wow this generation of music sucks that's a fact"

| you know, i don't stick to a single period of time when it comes to music. i don't think anyone should, i think people should listen to all kinds of music that they find enjoyable be it made 200 years ago or 2 months ago |

I don't understand how someone can listen to just one genre. I get bored with a genre, listen to a different one for a while, then come back to it later.
