Salutations Territory Conquest Fans!

Are you longing for a new strategic element in Territory Conquest? I sure am! Worsen has been working on improving the battle style of TC.

What are Generals, you say? Generals will add extra offensive and defensive buff depending on their rank. Rankings are based upon the experience it has, and of course, experience is obtained through battles. While it is true that you gain experience through battles, losing your general to another general will result in losing ALL of your exp to the enemy general. Therefore, it is important for you to know when to retreat. Surprise! You can only retreat 1/4 of your current army when fighting another general, meaning that you need to be smart enough to plan your moves like you do in chess.

How do you get Generals, you ask? You start with one! Each time you spawn with a capital, a newly general will appear like a shining hero ready for battle and conquest! This honorable generals does not only appear once, but depending on your total army size! That’s right! It appears as your total army increases!

Last but not the least, we need feedback on how many people participate on this. You can also elaborate on the ideas we have above! It is important to hear the fans voices as it is an important update that alters the gameplay quite a bit. Possibly, we may add more features about what a general can do besides buffing the defensive and offensive ability of the units they control.

NLP2002 - Again, It would effect game play very much if you made it a pass. DO NOT do this. It'll ruin the game for non- BC/Fortunate players. ("General" topic) - Okay. Seems like a good idea. But you should make it so the generals could be sent off and AUTO-AI the battle. so you don't have to stress. (instance) - Yellow-vs-green. Green sends a 2,000 at your province. (any province. Does not matter.) Generals act quickly and send off an alt unit with a low class Colonel. (low glass General.) and defeats the 2,000 Army quickly without you knowing what happened. Basicly an AI inside of an AI.

NLP2002- Acually, remove the generals idea. Do not add anything to change the game infastructure. Leave TC how it is and fix a few bugs here and there, and add maps. :)

You guys are over thinking it. What Generals only do is increase offensive/defensive number. Even your idea sounds way too 'OP', Sheep.

This feature is aimed at adding another element of strategy in games where the players are relatively balanced in strength. Even in games where there are obvious superpowers, it will still be interesting to see how generals are used.

The games where there is one superpower won't change, the superpower will still win

If someone is going to obviously win, a General won't change the outcome. Worst case, it's one game you miss because of some 'super power'

Plus, the general can only be in one spot at once, so it's not even like you have to confront it directly.


I do believe, with some balancing, the General thing can be awesome.

I Think the genreals will be an amazing idea. As a anthor buff like a moveing capital. so incase you lose your cap you have a place to fall back to to stilkl defend better than a regular province!

This will be way to OP because if a server teams against 1 person and they're all decent players that one person will still lose due to not being able to defend.

I would like it if you stepped back and rethought this. I'm in huge favor of economy such as everyone will have money during the start, and everyone will have "materials." Materials include Wood, Iron, and Rock. Wood should be used for towns. Iron would of course be used for swords/armour. Rock should be used for Forts. All of these will benefit the buyer in economy, defence, and offence. All Generals will do is be OP for the majority and this game "NEEDS" to be new user friendly.

Just my ideas feel free to add on or get rid of something you don't like about it.

I have been playing TC for a considerably long time now and the number 1 thing I would like to see in it is Economy or some sort of different grounds instead of total conquest maybe trading between nations if they have materials.

How would this work?
This wouldn't fit in with the game.
This could just ruin this awesome game.
The game is perfect.
Maybe add like a more advanced trusted ally system, two people per team.
Three teams of two.
This would create a more of a fair game, instead of 5 v the best player on the server...
Moreover, create more maps.
Thats all.

I do not like this idea. If I wanna play chess online I play online chess. I like territory conquest because its so different to different conquest games but adding genrals will make it very confusing and to me less fun

Have General be a new game type, we haven't had one of those in a while.

Then people will have the choice to play it or not.

Yes. Exp will equation will be based of total units killed by General. Therefore it can slow you down in the beginning by leveling it up, or you can pay the price of battling a good General late game.

No, I meant that as when a battle is happening, only 1/4 can retreat. It's not OP, you just have to move before the battle ends.

Not to be rude, but your idea is way too 'advanced/op/whatever'. How will we get the economy materials? By conquering territories? That makes the person that's leading the game LEADING more plus the probability of them not ending the game because they want to 'build' their Empire. It would result in new players wanting to play the game. It's like saying, what would you save an accident? the lives of 10 people? or the life of a noble man?

Am I hearing something here? Shobobo already said "No" to removing the ideas.

I think it is better for it to be implemented in the regular conquest mode. We already have several ideas of game mode (hinthint), just not worked upon as of right now.

Well thats what we must go over Cbika what do we need to have to happen to make atleast trading a reality in TC? What do you believe would make it worthy of TC. Dont just say it wont be added anyways so no. Just tell me what you think.
