Apparently it's a property, most likely a bool,
but it's completely undocumented,
so I was wondering if any of you guys knew anything about it.

The player GUI gets reset on spawn anyway.
It's easy to "disable" this. When the player dies clone the PlayerGui to somewhere then re-parent it to the player after they respawned. |

This allows for persistent local scripts. I am not proud of the property name (considering I named it) but it's extremely useful so that my GUIs aren't being recreated everytime you die.
And IamAwesome777 is wrong. If you reparent and then parent back means, a server script has to watch over Player's playerguis and reparent them. Additionally, your local gui's have to be smart enough to adjust since they will be restarted and maintain state. This is not easy.

| Well this is simpler than what I was doing (Creating a script that parents itself to nil when you originally spawn, cloned from ServerStorage when you enter in a Backpack, which then clones a GUI from ReplicatedStorage and unparents it before you respawn and reparents it after you respawn). But what is it a property OF? |
