Guide START.
Welcome, new recruit of Divine Nation! You have just joined a powerful and currently reforming sword fighting group. This is a guide to help you in your Divine Nation career, etc.
YOUR PLACE IN DN
As a recruit in DN, you are currently the lowest rank, not including 'guest', this means you cannot technically 'order' people around. You are the largest proportion of the group, and are probably the bit we most rely on. Without you, we cannot attack, defend or even show our power!
You must follow orders of basically every other rank, as they are higher than you on 'the chain'. Coming to training's, raids and patrols will get you more promotions, which shall be explained later on.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF YOU
As a soldier and member of DN, this applies to every rank. You are expected to turn up to events WHENEVER you are online! You see any shout from a high rank calling a patrol, raid, training or anything else, go to it! Do NOT just go to events for promotions, they won't be handed out at every event!
Even if you just see 2 or 3 soldiers of no massive rank at a place, don't hesitate to join them! Gain their respect, their loyalty!
SPEAKING TO HIGHER RANKS
If you are speaking to a rank below Captain, you won't have to call them 'Sir' or Ma'am', but when answering, you should still be saying 'OK!' or 'RIGHT AWAY (name)'.
If you are speaking to a rank higher than Ally Leader, then you need to call them 'Sir' if they are male, or Ma'am if they are female. An answer would be some thing like; 'YES MA'AM' or GOING NOW SIR!'. Not doing these things will NOT put you in a good mood with these ranks, and will decrease their view of you, and you are less likely to be promoted!
ORDERS
As a recruit, you WILL have to follow and listen to many orders. Here is a guide to a few of them:
Line! - Very straight forward, all the soldiers go into a horizontal line, facing the ordering high rank. You will learn different types of lines in training.
Attack! - Also straight forward, charge the enemy, destroy them!
Wait! - Pause what ever you are doing.
Silence! - Shut up! Listen to the high rank!
Go! - Also easy, start whatever this command may be for, be it an obby, sword fight or race.
SHOUTS
You will see lots of different shouts from DN high ranks, here is a key to a few of them:
[RAID] - There is a raid happening - follow the high rank, get to the fort!
[ALLY] - Our allies need help, get to their base now!
[TRAIN] - A training is being held at a facility , get there straight away, hone your battle skills!
[PATROL] - Go to the fort, DN members are there, you never know when the raiders may strike!
[MEETING] - Although this is mostly for higher ranks, a meeting is being held, get discussing!
DRESS CODES
It does not matter what you wear outside of a DN place or facility, but inside one is a whole different story!
There will always be a normal uniform for all LR/MRs to wear. Currently this is the formal uniform, which you should wear to all events! In such case as a night time lit base, or a desert theme etc, different, special uniforms will be used. If these are needed, a HR will tell you to, don't use them otherwise!
If you come to a DN place without the correct or any uniform, you could be punished for this. If you do it enough times this could result in a demotion!
DEFCONS
A high ranks will usually say a Defcon with his/hers shout or during a patrol/raid. This is what they mean:
Defcon 1 ( GREEN) = This is when there are no threats to Divine Nation. Meaning you do not need to be highly aware of any Raiders or Attacks on DN Soil.
Defcon 2 (YELLOW) = This is when there are small threats or small Enemy's. This is almost as Green but more Aware.
Defcon 3 (ORANGE) = This is when there are Specific Threats to Divine Nation, this is a Medium Scale Awareness.
Defcon 4 (RED) = This is a bad time, attacks are common and Awareness while patroling is very high.
Defcon 5 (BLUE) = This is a Very serious occasion. There are multiple large threats to Divine Nation during this time.
PROMOTIONS
Gaining promotions in Divine Nation is not just turning up! NEVER expect to get a promotion! High ranks will give out promotions only when they personally feel they are deserved! Asking for a promotion, or even worse BEGGING, will just make it less likely for your getting one! Modesty is the key here. It is very unlikely you will get a promotion from a Patrol, and only slightly likely you will get one from a raid, and that is only if the great Divine Nation WIN!
If you have risen up 'the ladder' enough to be close to being a High Rank, then it is not as simple as going to a training. You will have to be assessed in a number of things, like Skills, Leadership and Respect. After this all the High Ranks will have a vote. In the future, a separate division may be made for training the future tier of Divine Nation High Ranks!
Guide END.
