What about bias spawn positions? Like, guys spawning on one side of a gate, straight in the only path Raiders can take without breaking a raid rule.

Camping isn't really an advantage since this ROBLOX isn't a FPS and a game about reaction time.

camping isn't a problem.
teleport camping can be, but usually terminal camping is allowed because, well you have to defend the dang thing |

I'm not calling it an advantage.
And, I believe I covered spawn positioning in the Camping section, but I will make sure to touch on it again later on. |

@Newb,
well, there's a difference between "Camping" a spawn, and quite literally spawning in the only path Raiders can take. I mean, look at RSF's base for example.

When a team can mow down any sort of resistance by cornershooting down a hallway from both ends, that's not really skill, it's camping.
Thus, camping is something I'm addressing, to cover my bases. |

spawn position stresses me a lot when raiding
halos8's enclave base, they allow spawn killing of themselves but their ff lasts like, 15 seconds and the spawn on the floor under the terminal room, which is the only way in.
i prefer to make my bases where my team spawns further away from the fort than the raiders.
and op weapons also kill me a lot, (literally) |

OP Weapons, I'll look at.
I've covered spawn position in the 'Unfair' section and will cover it again in the 'How to Fix' section. |

@6flyguy6,
you'd love my forts. I either give the Raiders a closer up spawn (not too much, fairness and all..) or just try my best to line up the exact stud count on spawn distance from the base. Hate this bias crap.

I'm all for defensive tactics.
Camping isn't so much skill-based, as it would be laziness.
I'm very specific about camping, making it more about the Spawns than actual camping in the base.
An exerpt:
>Camping - The ability of one team to entrap the other team in a confined area, usually around the spawn. This can be achieved through many ways, whether through spawn advantages, conflicting objective routes, or lenient base rules. *This is a very big problem and developers should avoid causing it.*
I also reference Borealis directly. That isn't skill. Just advantage.
But then again, you're WIJ. |

No... not really.
You're playing on the notion that camping is conditionally allowable, but it honestly gets out of hand very quickly. Borealis is, again, unplayable once there's six people with shatter rounds shelling out the enemy base, not necessarily due to skill discrepancy, but because it's just unfair to have mountain cover over the raider's base. |

If the major problem is camping, and the base is bad, would it be folly to assume that the base is bad because of camping?
I'm fairly sure I understand what camping is. I'm not saying that Camping isn't worthless, I'm just saying there should be measures to avoid being trapped in a spawn area simply out of coincidence that the raiders and defenders spawn right next to each other.
If you think I have one-sided opinions, you should really look at your arguments again. |
