Amendment I The Legislative Assembly will make no law regarding an establishment of religion or the exercise thereof; the freedom of speech or the press; the freedom of the people to peacefully assemble or petition the government for a redress of wrong doings.
Amendment II No soldier will be, in a time of peace, quartered in a house without the consent of the owner.
Amendment III The Legislative Assembly will make no law infringing upon the right of the people to be secure in their own homes and persons without an issue of warrant with probable cause, supported by oath.
Amendment IV An excessive bail will not be required, nor will excessive fines be imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Amendment V The rights laid forth in this Constitution will not be construed to deny the rights of the people.
Amendment VI The powers not delegated to the State by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it, will be reserved for the people of the State. |
