Welcome to the Caesar's Legion information thread.
--
Caesar's Legion is an autocratic, ultra-reactionary, utilitarian slaver society, founded in 2247 by DrHazmat (Caesar I) and based on the ancient Roman Empire. Its legionaries are a well organized, culturally insular fighting force that mainly operate east of the Colorado River and the Grand Canyon, in the former state of Arizona.
Caesar's Legion is comprised mostly of reconditioned tribes and their descendants.
--
We are a dictatorship. We are lead by our Absolute Ruler, The Almighty Caesar.
--
STANDARDS:
We here in the legion are based off of strict roman law and standards. We have a special way of greeting and farewell. We are a polite society by non-violent means, although we are trained to be fierce killers and brutal warriors.
Basic standards are not required, but are encouraged for the sake of keeping the legion pure.

1. Greet all with the word "Ave". Ave is Hello

2. Dismiss all with the word "Vale". Vale is Farewell

3. Dress appropriately. Uniforms are expected, but we try to keep hats simple. No rainbow equinox or other abnormal attire. Helmets such as the Spartan Helmet, or other Roman-based attires are acceptable.
----
LAW:
8 Laws are held to all members of the legion under the Almighty Caesar. He alone holds the ability to change and/or alter these laws at any time.

1. All for legion. - You are expected to be unconditionally loyal to the legion and its causes.

2. Royal Manners. - We are a respectable empire. We expect our members to have respect for not only themselves and their comrades, but the enemies we face or the people we associate with. Do not break your character.

3. Valor. - We don't back down from a fight. We fight to the very last man, and the very last drop of blood. If you abandon your comrades without good reason, it will be the Colorado or the Cross for you.

4. Know your place. - If you are given a responsibility by a member higher than you, You will do so without question. You are to do the job or handle the mission to the best of your ability.

5. Refrain from Sloth. - Stay active. If you have a good reason to be off for a long period of time, Message one of the HC's or post it on the group wall. Otherwise, you will be punished.

6. Don't slap the Pitbull. - If you're going to fight, Do not cause political conflict. We do not allow warmongering without a proper discussion first.

7. Wolf in Sheep's clothing. - We are a fearsome group. We are mature, brave, and brutal. Dress like it. Don't wear stupid things like rainbow hats or drool faces, they make us look soft.

8. Stand ready. - Always be prepared to fight for Caesar and for Legion. Show up to as many rallies, raids, and training's as possible.

Other rules are common sense. Call higher ranks sir, Address the Emperor as Emperor, Etc. Etc.
----
PUNISHMENT:
Punishment for breaking these laws can result in several different types of ways. They will run in 2 categories. Humiliation, and Recreation
--
Humiliation Punishments - Can be obtained by repeated minor infractions.
-
Punishments include:

Bumping - A hit from the Legate's Sword will send you flying, and you will be expected to walk back to the operational area.

Tremors - You will be ":seizure'd" in the spot you stand, and left there until your fellow legionnaire's or your commanders deem you ready to return to action.
--
Recreation Punishments - Can be obtained by repeated major infractions or treason.
-
Punishments include:

Demotion - Simple and efficient

Crucifixion - You will be nailed to a cross infront of your comrades. These typically end with exile or high demotion.

Graham'ing - You will be taken to the highest point of the map and Smacked to the ground with the legate's sword. This recreates Joshua Graham's plunge into the Grand Canyon, and this ends with exile.
----

Altair's group got up to about 70 members inactive.

Altair's group died.

Seeing as we're older, and still kicking, says something.
