If you don't know what Trader's Life is, which is probably most of the people reading this game, in short, its a semi-realisitic exploration based survival game set on a large map (several miles long.)

Basically I've finished with making most of the map for now and I am now going onto core game mechanics and I would like some suggestions on features that should be added. Some features might already be in progress atm.
In-Progress:
-Saving system. -Hunger/thirst system. -Temperature system. -Realistic water. -Water pressure. -Inventory. -Crafting. -Pick-ups. -Animals. -Boats.
Remember I don't want ideas about items but rather about mechanics the game should have, e.g. 'Add a shark sword' = BAD, 'Add realistic sword-fighting' = GOOD.
Also there are some core-mechanics that I am not going to approach:
-Modern firearm system. (Only classic firearms, e.g. flintlocks.) -PvP system. (This might be added or there might be a dualing system.) -Magic system. (This game is realistic game, not a fantasy.) -Potions system. (Again, potions are fantasy, cooking system maybe.) -Explosives system. (Confirmed.)

| It's now quite far in development with a working inventory system, large map and tool system. Please suggest somethings I should add. |
