Do modern horror films have their villains be badly designed things with 800 joints on every inch of their body
There's nothing scary in a CGI mess that walks like a car wreck.
And if they aren't walking like car wrecks then they are really awful CGI messes that look like bad renditions of Darth Maul with fur.
I swear, Hollywood is losing it's touch with designing real and frightening monsters. |

I'm one of those that believe in simplicity. You don't need over-the-top designs to have a frightening monster IMO all you need to show is the psychological effect it has on the main characters, and then it gets the picture across what this creature is capable of doing.
Just my two cents. |
