Honestly I'd be impressed with a single logical reply.
Why do so many of you continually refer to others as autistic? I would hope I wouldn't need to go over simply how rude it is, but honestly, you may as well say something like "you have no left leg". Its not something you control if you are.
I say this as a person with a plethora of psychological issues, but still, the question stands. |

| I am disgusted by the fact people use it as an insult, but I admit that I did use it once here. |

I haven't used it but I have seen it used before. Never understood it. Possibly due to the fact that some people choose to diagnose themselves or the DSM coming up with wider criteria to the point of everyone being able to be called "mentally ill".
I do, however, in real life take it as an insult when girls claim to have OCD just because they organize..

| True but I have the right of free speech, and I choose to use it for ironic humour to help myself cope with a near life crushing syndrome, so be it. |

Dark does have a point here if he is being sincere about his condition.

" plethora of psychological issues"
Those better not be self-diagnosed. Girls like to claim to have OCD as an excuse to dig through my locker and organize it. Just because you organize doesn't mean you have OCD. The closest thing we can get to neat-freak in the DSM is OCPD. Which is completely different from OCD in many ways.

I have CFS. Should I go around saying others have it just because my life will not be very easy? No, as itwould simply be illogical.
You "coping" should not involve ridiculing another on their ignorance to a topic or an opinion by stating they have a psychological disorder. Honestly, I'm almost disgusted by that more than a normal person saying it. |

"The idea of using it originated on 4chan. Its mostly a flamebait tactic there , as to draw in newfriends who get offended , and give away their disguise. Its pretty straightforward."
I am willing to bet that this is the case.

| Kaboose, no. CFS led to a bunch of irritating things, most dominant in my hatred of being manic fits. |

| Not exactly, but very like it. I have fits of random screaming, crying, laughing, etc., generally with no cause. Not to the length of being bipolar, just manic fits |

Right, you would have to retain more traits in order to have Manic-depression disorder.
I tend to tell girls to shut up when they claim to have disorder X or OCD.
They have never read the DSM carefully or thoroughly and I find it insulting that they make such claims. I do however tell them that they are on their menstrual cycle at the moment.
