How does reading scripts from free models help with learning how to script more?

Most people learn from modifying free models but this teaches bad habits which will eventually be unlearned in the future. Just experiment and you will learn.

Basically what Oysi said, but it's hard to learn from looking through models when you know nothing to begin with. Think of it like this: if you are trying to learn spanish, you can't really learn it by just reading masses of it, but if you understand some of it you can kinda figure out the rest of it. I think you get the gist of what I'm saying.

I get what you're saying, but what free models should you take scripts from, and why?
