Hi!

I've made a box, it is light inside. Why? How can I make it dark?
Thanks.

Because you it have dynamic lighting on. You can't turn it off and expect to keep things dark.

Game.Lighting.Brightness = 0
Game.Lighting.Ambient = Color3.new(0,0,0)

So on and so forth.

@proxy
Just no.

Dynamic Lighting makes it dark, so that's all you need to do.

Actually, you CAN, and I have done it before. If you click on Lighting in your ROBLOX Studio Explorer then you will see several different fog options. What you want to do is turn Brightness to 0. I believe that will work. OR you have to turn the OutdoorAmbient to 0, 0, 0. It was one of those options and I can't remember which one off the top of my head now but, there you go. (Maybe it's both options...)

@C0mmando

No, that will just lower the brightness on everything. Keeping a place dark while others are bright was not possible until dynamic lighting.

@lombardo2

Easy to do, with LocalLighting.. So, stop putting down statements and do whatever you Pessimists do.
