It was done by ROBLOX to people who deliberately or accidentally visited innapropriate places. Look it up, Shedletsky confirmed it by replying to someone with the issue on twitter and explaining how it was a ban. |

If a simple reinstall doesn't work.
1. Open File Explorer 2. Paste this into the bar at the top then press enter: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Roblox\Versions 3. Find "RobloxPlayer" or "RobloxPlayerBeta" in one of those folders 4. Right click "RobloxPlayer" or "RobloxPlayerBeta" then click Properties 5. Go to the Compatibility tab 6. Check the Run this program has administrator box 7. Find "RobloxPlayerLauncher" 8. Once again Right click it 9. Go to properties 10. Switch to the compatibility tab 11. Check the Run this program has administrator box 12. Try to play a game |

@BlockzieCartI No that is not realy why this happens. This was confirmed by almost every other moderator other than Shedletsky that this is not what causes this. Shedletsky was just trolling that user(no surprise there) |

I have in the past tried to find the source of the block, I'm assuming ROBLOX puts some kind of file on the computer that the client looks for and if it finds it, runs the error message. Or perhaps gives you a client programmed to fault (this first time I got 0x1, my ROBLOX client had just updated). Have you ever noticed how the game runs in the background? You can actually see the game playing and your character loading - that pretty much proves ROBLOX did this deliberately. And to be fair to them, I think they did it with intentions most parents would agree with, although perhaps they need to use it more sparingly so as to avoid getting innocent people such as OP.
Someone who had the knowledge nessecary to work out where the ROBLOX client checks for the file would probably be able to work on a fix. On the otherhand, if the client itself is broken (that could still be done deliberately) there could be an IP ban element to the ban? Although the user account with the error isn't banned, if we assume this is a ban (which I think it is) then they must have originally identified an account to pinpoint the client to cause the error with - that means that after uninstalling the broken client (my other theory) you would need to install from another location (perhaps through a proxy). |

| It isn't a ban. I wish I could get this error because I want to know more about it. |
