The World: In this version, the Church reigns most popular, while the Imperial Army is second, leaving the Kingdom the least favored. Therefore, there are more Divine Provinces than Military Provinces, and less Civilian Provinces than Military. The organization known as the Spell-Hunters remain never sleeping, destroying any Spells that Magic has deemed evil. Meanwhile, the Church has made notions to ban all spells. There has also been a new group known as the Ethereals that work to study spells. There has also been recent rumors that Krelle had collapsed into itself, causing the city to disappear and leaving behind only a large deep hole
Races: Humans: Simply just humans, they have the most kingdoms and largest empires Amarzi: Deer-men. They have chili pepper red skin with antlers and deer ears and they all have black hair with Purple, Red, or Pink eyes. They're culture isn't rather decorative, but they are accredited with being a powerful warrior race and the second most important in Crestrise Ska'vin (Singular: Ska'vik): The Ska'vin are a race of reptilian humanoids that are one of the 4 races fighting over the Floating Islands. They are tall, muscular, and have a slouch, like how you would expect any reptilian on two legs to have. They usually have sun flower yellow scales, but sometimes they'll have complete white. These white Ska'vik are called the Winters. Winters have a special job, preaching the word of the Ska'vin religion, or leading the Ska'vin race as kings or nobles. Winters, if they have made a great contribution to society, become an Oli'tar, a paragon of Ska'vik-kind and the founder of a Ska'vin noble house. Ska'vin need a lot of heat to live and a lot of light to be able to see properly, therefore their homes on the Floating Islands project a lot of light, blinding or burning raiders, making a Ska'vin home impossible to raid. Some of the Ska'vin have recently fled to the southern reaches of the Crestrisen Empire in an attempt to escape the war. They now usually live in separate little colonies using advance systems of mirrors to gain the high amount of light they need and to increase the heat away from most Crestrisen civilizations. The homes inside are also just a mass group of tents. Of course, the refugees that were once warriors have decided to give their service to the military or become mercenaries, using other senses to find enemies. Gnolls: Gnolls are strange hyena men. They're short people with hyena like fur, a natural snarl, black eyes with a small red dot for a pupil, a lot of saliva, and their heads point out forward to make a snout. These people are fairly generous though. A common saying in Crestrise is to "have a Gnoll's head", meaning that a person is charitable. They hail from a land called Zababra, a golden land of planes, where the Gnolls have constructed large defensive settlements to protect them against Zababra's wildlife. Some, hoping to have a life where you were less likely to become a munchy, have chosen to immigrate to the Empire of Crestrise, where they start a new life. Goblins: Twist folk who kill for amusement. They are stout small folk and rulers of the Under Earth. No one knows these exist.
Beginning: "Hey! Kavada!" says Gahran, an Amarzi mage wearing light black leather robes that have spiky steel shoulder plates with a black line covering his eyes and the tip of his left horn cut off, "I found a reference to some more unique spells. Really powerful. Be careful, I had to rob Seer to get this. Darn Spell-Hunters, they have such important things and they refuse to share them with us. Nevertheless, here it is. So, any ideas on how to handle this abominable Hitirin person?" |

| "Hang on, you stole a book?" Kavada says in dissapproval. "Gahran, you can't just go around stealing things that don't belong to you. We'll have to return it later, but right now, we have to find Hitirin, and our first move should be to find him." |

New Quest! The Falling of Jurvu! Hitirin's death is nigh. Work with your fellow mage Gahran and slay the assassin. Of course, do expect random earthquakes.
"Come on, Kavada! They're Spell-hunters! Between the Church and the Ethereals wanting to obtain or destroy our work, we deserve to take their work in kind. Besides, while the treant leader of the Spell-hunters, Seer, may be able to see anywhere of his choosing, he won't look to us first for the theft. He'd turn towards those Ethereals," says Gahran, with a smile as he grabbed his quarterstaff, an intricate thing made out of the metalwood found in the Madsmile province, with a dark steel spike at the bottom and top of the shaft.
"Besides, Hitirin would be easy to kill. We have saved on enough spells to give us an upper hand. Just find some privacy and we're done! Of course, those mysterious earthquakes concern me a little." |

| "As much as I would like to have a read myself, theft is not the way we should go about it. Besides, we shouldn't even be involving ourselves in this kind of political tension, not when we have a task to accomplish. Speaking of which, we should probably get back to tracking Hitirin's trail." |

| Gahran smiles wildly, "We've always been involved in political tensions. Has the Guild-master. V'era, taught you nothing? And we've been on Hitirin's tail for a while. Why do you think we're in Port Jurvu? It's been found out that he is taking an airship from here to Dawn's Embrace. While it is the capital province of the Church, therefore making me tempted to leave the Arch-priest for dead, we must stop him. Don't worry, I've forged the transitional permits for going into Church territory. Shall we get some shopping done?" |

While getting some new equipment would be nice, scouting the airship early for an ambush point would also be beneficial.
Kavada asks Gahran "What time does the airship leave again?" |

The room starts to shake violently for a few minutes, but then stops.
"Lets look at those for less then a hour. I'd prefer to be on the airship with all of these blasted earthquakes." |

| "Then we should get started. Come on." Kavada says to Gahran as he nods out the door, notioning to leave the building. |

| As you and Gahran travel to the airship, you are met with the whispers of the Falling of Krelle and eventually, you two are stopped by a giant mob, complaining about it. Not stopped... Trapped. |

(When I said I was going to leave the building, that wasn't suppose to mean we were leaving for the airship immediatly... but I can work with this)
Finding himself enclosed within the angry crowd of answer seekers, Kavada, in an attempt to communicate with Gahran, yells "Dosen't look like we're getting past these people so easily. We'll have to push through them!" Kavada starts to move hastily through the mob, grabbing shoulders whilst apologising along the way. |

Before you leave the crowd, you are stopped by a large gnoll.
"Where are you going? You signed up for this riot like the rest, don't ditch us!" |

| Kavada responds to the Gnoll "I'm sorry, but I didn't sign up for any riot. Me and my friend were just trying to get to the docks when these protestors came out of nowhere. Now please, let us pass." |

The gnoll cracks up an eerie hyena-like laugh.
"That isn't the first time I've heard that. Now look, I know you're worried about getting arrested or massacred, but you can't bail on us now. I can feel it in my gut. This is going to work, just remain persistent!" |

Knowing that this gnoll's not going to take the hint, Kavada could try to get past him, but might also draw attention from the other demonstrators. With no other good idea in mind, Kavada begins to search his inventory for Spells. Perhaps there's something he could use. |

(Forgot to mention your spell inventory, did I? As your a mage, you can start out with a few.)
You have 3 winds spells, 5 fire spells, 2 protection spells, and a healing spell. The only one that would budge him would be a wind spell, but that would cause angry attentions from the crowd and the guards. |

Kavada looks up to the gnoll again and says to him "Look, I am being serious. I have an airship that's about to leave in a few hours and I cannot miss it. I'm sorry."
Kavada starts to budge his feet around the crowd again, trying to get around the gnoll as swiftly as he could. |

"Miss it? Bah! You can miss i-"
All of a sudden, your gnoll is gone. And by gone I mean, he fell down a hole into deep nothingness... |

"What the- where did he- Gahran, did you see that?"
Now looking at the random sinkhole, Kavada stares into it trying to find the gnoll that fell in. |

You see nothing, but an abyss filled with only darkness. You think you can still hear the faint echo of screams.
"That isn't right..." says Gahran, looking at the hole.
Suddenly, the crowd notices, and starts to scream and run away. They might take up all of the spots on the ship, HURRY! |

Looking up again from the hole, he notices the crowd in panic "It looks like the rioters are dispersing toward the docks. We should do the same and hurry."
Kavada sprints towards the airships. |

You find yourself halted at the airship docks. You were, sadly the slowest ones to get to the ship, and a mass crowd blocks you.
"This isn't going to work. A sinkhole is bad, we should find a way out of the city. Get Hitirin another time," suggest Gahran. |

After taking a moment to catch his breath, Kavada turns back to Gahran "You're right. We're going to have to find a way out."
Kavada contemplates on their options. They could try to find another airship to hitch on, provided that they're not all filled or have departed already. A convenient escape route, but they'll might end up at a port that would put them off Hitirin completely. The city exits are also a viable option, but could take some time to get there, and the danger of sinkholes, debris and other evacuees are also present.
"Let's try to find another airship." Kavada says to Gahran. |
