you can get USB 2.0 wireless adapters or PCI-Express cards if you use ethernet you need a cable plugged into your computer
my grandfather had installed a pci express wifi adapter(as well as a CPU cooler) onto his computer before giving it to me |

@ihas
If you plan on connecting over wifi then yes, you do need a wireless adapter. Note that if you do, make sure it's a PCIe card, they tend to have much better antennas than USB sticks. If you don't plan on connecting over wifi then you will not need a wireless adapter in (presumably) your desktop, and can just use the built-in ethernet port in the motherboard. |

"We have an ethernet and the routers in the other room. I got my laptop connected to it. My sis's got her laptop and pre built desktop connected to it to." Ethernet is a wired connection you need to have a wifi adapter to use wireless as it is not ethernet |

... Go look on ebay, amazon, pcpartpicker, newegg etc. We shouldn't have to tell you how much something costs when the internet exists. |

10-20. You install it into your motherboard. A good wireless card is the Rosewill RNX-N250PCe (RNWD-11005) Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g/n PCI Express available on newegg |
