Hello Robloxians and Roblox Staff.
Recently, my computer has been, well, acting very incompetent. I recently had to reset my computer in an effort to fix Internet problems. Well, I can now connect to the Internet, so the resetting fixed THAT problem.
But there are a lot more NEW problems that have arisen since the reset. For example, when I move my cursor to a specific place in this chat box, my typing line (the one that flashes where your letters appear) just randomly jumps to that spot without me clicking. It also happens on other sites AND in the Roblox game window - so I know it's not a Roblox problem, but it's really weird. If any of you are computer experts in real life, please give me some helpful tips on that.
Also - I lag like CRAZY on Roblox games! I go to the most simplest games that only consists of a single baseplate: one freaking brick. And my character flips out on me, and so does my mouse. It's even slower than recording on a normal computer. That was at first. Recently, the images are more consistent, so it's no longer like staring at pictures, but a slightly broken video. Even so, I'm still having lots of trouble moving my character and shooting even a still target in-game.
The lag may be a Roblox problem or a PC problem. I've looked online for something that can help me with the lag, but all I've done is follow useless tutorials to program unneeded stuff into my computer and download services that ALL NEED CASH, which I can't give them.
In some beta programs I've downloaded, which scan my computer for free (but demand money to do something for problems the scan may show) say that I have 1337 useless files - which probably explain the intense lag. But what I don't get is - how can I get that many useless junk files after A SINGLE computer reset? It vexes me. If any of you can recommend some sort of FREE AND VIRUS-FREE PROGRAM which can get rid of my junk files, I would like that.
Or, if you have tips on how to manually remove them, I would like that too.
Thanks all of you. :)
HAPPY THANKSGIVIG AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

P.S. It's a Windows 8 Samsung. |

| About 98% or more of those programs that say they will help your computer probably will make things worse. Try disabling startup programs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xywBynKRGoQ |

| Thanks for the feedback so far. I hope I get more replies - I really don't want to travel 3 hours to the nearest Best Buy to get them to fix it. e.e |

| Make sure you don't have any viruses remove unnecessary programs and ad ware and disable unnecessary startup items and services and defrag your harddrive. That is really the only way to ACTUALLY speed up your computer. |

| The lag is 99.999999% likely to be your computer or internet speed. If it is your computer i recommend using asc6 (search asc6 on google) (and look up a key for asc6 pro, search "asc6 key") it removes log files, malware, viruses, rootkits, etc.. also, it defrags. I recommend scanning your computer with it. My cousing had like 40GB of log files on his LAPTOP talk about EXTREME LAG you couldn't even watch a youtube video without lag .-. he thought i was a miracle worker when i ran asc6 on his laptop .-. |

follow these steps: start-in the search bar, type in "run"- find run- type in %temp%-press ctrl+A- delete (don't worry, those are all empty files) than where you typed in %temp%, type in "prefetch"- ctrl+a---delete-- see if that works |

| I don't see why people use run and cp with 1k commands instead of just running a free scanner of some kind (make sure it's repituble first) that scans for empty files... |
