"Put that down!" The man in the overcoat ordered. The girl twisted her head and dropped the blade. She was prepared to cry out when he put his finger to her lips. "Do not be afraid. I am Castiel, I am an angel of the Lord." All of her fear seemed to have been wiped clean. She stood there in awe until he asked why she had the razor to her wrist.
"I was... I was going to take my life." His face turned to the most utter expression of dismay and disgust. "Why would you destroy the gift my Father worked so hard to give you? The ability to breathe and feel?" She felt her face turn red with anger. "He's the one who gave me such a wonderful life? Where my boyfriend beats me and my friends betray me?"
"Perhaps you should choose better people to be around," Castiel said. She felt the redness of anger melt away and turn to embarrassment. "I- I- I can't," she whispered. Castiel asked why not.
"It's just the way life is," she replied. Castiel looked at her for a brief moment. "Then why did my Father give you free will?" And with that he was gone, the sound of feathers fluttering in his place. |

This story is my response to a few of the things going on in my life at the moment, ala my best friend trying to take his own life for the second time.
It's also a response to the people I know at school who constantly complain about how bad they have it. About how their fiftieth girlfriend or boyfriend didn't go as they had hoped, or how their friends failed to do some stupid task.
Life's too short to worry about over dramatic nonsense. Enjoy it.
And enjoy the story. |

No. It's nonsense.
You'll understand when you're in high school. |

| All things are important but nothing matters. Psychology is a science of probability; really, it's best summed up by Lyall Watson. “If the brain were so simple we could understand it, we would be so simple we couldn't.” Don't pretend that anyone is anything like you, and never forget that we are all human and all the same. |

Touche.
I actually really like that quote. But the people at my school that complain about what ever, they do it in such a way where they're doing it to just complain. I can't explain it, it's like they're joking but serious at the same time.
It's also to the people I see complaining on social networks. They post five hundred statuses a night on how their lives suck without explaining why, so Ill send them a message asking if I could help, they wont respond even though it says theyve read it -
And then another five hundred statuses abouts how no one cares about them or wants to help and how they're all alone get posted again.
When I say it's nonsense, it is, but for the parts of it that truly affect them and aren't blown out of proportions like a soap opera - it's their own choices that do it to them. A girl failed to see that the guy she started to go out with is an addict who doesn't care and spends his time trying to smoke outside the school.
Or a guy failed to see the girl he went out with was just cheating on her other fifty boyfriends.
It's just their own poor choices that surround them in this world of negativity to which everything has to be this dramatic thing multiplied tenfold. |

I mean they didn't know their decision was careless.
I'm sure she probably smokes with him half the time, and he probably thought it'd be cool to have a girlfriend who would do all these crazy things.
So yeah it is nonsense when they choose to see all this negativity and refuse help or refuse to better their lives. |

I say probably but its probably true because I know they all go to this skatepark where they tell me about how all they do is do weed and drink and so on.
And if they're dating and go to the skatepark and I know for fact he smokes - and I know she is no angel - yeah, I imagine she smokes with him.
It isn't something I just now thought of - and I really wish you'd quit putting words in my mouth every time we argue over what ever the hell it is. Because you're a couple thousand miles away, I know more about my life and the people in it then you ever will.
But what ever, I'm wrong. There is negativity in this world that cant be controlled and it will engulf all of us with no hope for salvation and we should all off our lives right now so we don't have to deal with it.
Im not in the mood to argue and I haven't since we first started this - my friend, whose basically a brother to me, had overdosed not 4 days ago. Im not in the mood for people to question my way of thinking. You say its only nonsense to me and not them?
Great. Well my way of thinking is that it is nonsense, and if its not? Then that's your way of thinking. You're not helping me in any way and you're surely not cheering me up.
So I'm done posting on this thread regardless. |

Mario can you just accept the fact that people think differently? Leslie's going through some deep crap right now and all you're doing is trying to prove him wrong.
Support.
Support is how we get through this crap. |
