I think there should be a new system than engages you to chat with a random ONLINE robloxian. At the top of the blue bar, could be a new section called "Chat". When you get to the page, it would explain what this system is, and at the bottom will be the button you press to activate the system
When you want to use this system, the website engages you with a random person on Roblox that is online and open up a chat between you and that random person. I think with this implemented, people will be more open up to socializing with others. I noticed that over the years of me playing ROBLOX, most people do not talk, and are sometimes quiet.
A benefit with this, is that it could increase the amount of people playing games. Why? Well, ROBLOX has millions of games out there, and with new people that you meet, usually most of the time the 2 people play a game together, and like before how it was mentioned, people don't talk much and usually would leave a game faster because they have nothing to do. With the person you meet, you are willing to play the game longer, thus increasing the amount of players playing games at the moment.
Now, I could be wrong about the benefits, but who knows, it could happen.
tl;dr - Create a system that lets you chat with a random robloxian who is online. |

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think many people will use it. Just my opinion...

@lorax
Roblox could set it up so that when a new player makes an account, when they read the 2 messages, there will be a new one added talking about how you could make friends, and it will take you to this system. Or they could do something that can encourage a player to do use the system. |

Roblox does not need more socializing features it needs to focus on the improvement of games and building processes

When I saw the title, I was like "No way!", but after I read the word online, I decided to support.
So yeah, +1 support. |

I have seen other gaming programs use this before, and it is overall a good idea, but the problem would be this: I don't see many ROBLOXians using this. Most of the time, we get on to play games, and if we get bored, that's ok, because we're likely to go check out another game. So in a way, it really might not affect the amount of players on games in general. Plus, for shy people like me, if I don't want to talk to someone, I'm just not going to talk. Even with the option available, many people will still likely ignore it. And then again, maybe some people WILL use it, but I don't feel too many people will take advantage of it like they should.
Not bashing your idea, just offering my point of view on it. Perhaps if the general age range of ROBLOX users was a tad higher, it would have a better chance of success. But what do a bunch of 8, 9, and 10 year-olds care about meeting new people? They just want to play. If implemented, it would likely be more popular with ROBLOX's older (teen) players. |
