| Apparently I was formatting my Windows 8 laptop and it got stuck, and then I waited till it's battery drained, and then, I started it and it said "attempting repairs" and then it said something about Log file: C:/system32/logfiles/srt/srttrail.txt |

There's no System32 on a iPad,
Also about it...
Do you still have a installation Disc? Put it in, Then Restart your computer. Wait till it re-installs and you're done. |

| It is diffcuilt to recover the system32 since it's been either replaced or automatically deleted it happens very rare to be automatically deleted either go fix the computer or re-boot it for the system32 to recover. |

Format the whole thing And reinstall the whole operating system.
Most likely , trying to get System32 back is impossible (I know from experience , I test lots of things on virtual machines and I tried getting stuff from System32 back , but never succeeded.)
Good luck. |

@br0 As I said , my attempts to get it back failed 99% of the time. I just reinstalled the whole operating system. |

| First off, I was formatting my PC in the first place, so I don't really care about files, though I am currently rebooting it, it's taking a while |

So you where already formatting the drive to install a newer operating system/reinstall it? Then it's obvious System32 is gone. It just get backs to the first ever version of the hard drive. After that you just need to reinstall the operating system. |

@br0 I didn't say it is impossible , I said it didn't work well with me. And maybe if I did say it , I was wrong.
Maybe google some tutorial? |
