| Let me just say I basically suck at building in Roblox. As a result, I was wondering if anybody could give me a building tutorial for studio. Because If I'm going to make my dream game, I need to learn how to build well first. |

Let me start by giving you these: http://www.roblox.com/Building-Parts-item?id=78907945
They're the same tools I use. Use the tools a bit, get yourself comfortable using them.

| I'm to lazy to make a tutorial, but if you look one up in youtube it might help you. |

You don't build well by learning. You build well overtime. Basically, as you gain experience, dedication, techniques, etc. |

I agree with Scrin, I learned over time myself. Also, if you need to make a game the easiest way is hiring someone who's legit. [That's up to you]

Check out the roblox wiki. Read how to use studio in the lefthand column. Try the tutorials in studio. Press F1 to open the wiki(Function+F1 for some keyboards) |

| Watching someone build, or speedbuild with music might help, it seemed to help me. |

Keep practicing your building skills in the studio or in building games. Then step it up to cframing.

Yeah just like how they said it, just keep building. You're skills will gradually improve overtime. I been on ROBLOX for over 4 years and I learned by watching videos of people building, getting advice, building with only 1 block to make a castle and just overall experience. |

| Just play around with studio and the build tools. Thats how i figured it out. There is no replacement for imagination and experimentation. |

| Same here. My cars used to be so bad. Now they're quite decent. |

| What I did was just experiment with things and figure things out on my own.. once you get used to the studio id recommend you learn the more complicated things so that you can just start out with that. I hated being able to only make the simplest buildings and i wish i didn't always quit when i tried to learn more complicated building things to make things look better and be more detailed. |

Well, I'll give ya some hints. Most will be pretty useless as I'm terrible at describing stuff.
Noob Tips: 1) There is a bar at the top of Studio. Like, the lower one with the images, not the one that says "File" and stuff lik dat. On that bar there is also a area on the more right side with images of a mouse, arrows, rotate, etc. Nice to try out. Good for basic building. I usually use: mouse, move, resize, rotate (very simple-better use cframing), anchor. 2) Try out clicking on an individual part in the game and then opening up the "properties" pane. It's cool! |
