| PCs are a lot more flexible, if albeit inferior in software in terms of efficiency, but in terms for hardware power PCs are better, also, try Alienware. |

| @egg, proof, please? In what I've seen, after a few years, PCs slow down massively while Macs barely do. I've had my Macbook for 4 years and it still runs everything like it did originally. |

Windows 7 is indeed a crap operating system that kills itself, but I'm mostly talking hardware and possibly drivers for gaming wise, which Windows beats. And of course a clean boot restores all speed, if you're tech savy for that, and even so computers aren't meant to last in general
but of course linux>all |

This error only happens when the place has a lot of parts or voxels
Many more places on the iPad will be compatible when the "Streaming" update comes out. |

PCs don't slow down, unless you're doing something wrong. They age, or become outdated. Not to mention Linux-PCs are way faster than either Windows and OSX, but also they way more customizable. Linux-based computers are used in supercomputers for a reason.
Now, you think Apple is so grand at making computers, I can tell you, that you're not only buying a shoddy computer, but a also garbage OS. They use sleek and pretty colors to lure you to buy their product, they claim that their computers are "fast". First of, right now, the smallest version of a MacBook Pro is a 4GB RAM, i5 2.5 GHz dual core processor with 3 MB cache. You're trying to tell me that is fast and a good computer to be priced $1199? No. You can buy a 4GB RAM, i3 2.3 GHz also with 3MB cache at about $200 to $700 (Sears appears to be the highest), which minus .2 Ghz (it's really not going to make much of a difference) is still significantly cheaper.
Now you can also use the most expensive MacBook Pro, with the i7 2.3 Ghz, quad core. The quad core makes no better performance than an i3 dual core marked at 2.3Ghz, yet, it's still priced $1799. You're not "saving" money by buying Apple, not to mention when it comes to upgrading, you need specific tools or to take it to an Apple store that upgrades them. Both which can cost a lot of money to do, more so than just buying the part. With any other PC, you can You can take a Phillips screwdriver and a flathead to take apart, your laptop (some Desktops too) and insert new part.
Now the reason OSX is a shoddy OS, first off, you can't install OSX on every and all computers, yet you can install Linux on practically ANY device in the world, and even Windows can install on a lot of different platforms. Only recently did Apple develop OSX for x86-64 based processors, Windows had that for a while.
OSX still doesn't come with a firewall defaulted to on, all PCs do. OSX Mountain Lion (if I remember correctly) when first released had as many security loopholes as XP did. It's not the, "operating system that cannot get viruses". The only operating system that cannot get viruses is Linux, due to the fact that each version of Linux can be different, even though they are the same flavor.
Most speed tests with OSX vs Windows is wrong, they usually dumb down the Windows to bare minimum (with like 2GB RAM and a Pentium IV) and then put an 8GB RAM with an i5. Obviously the Mac is going to best faster, because obviously it has better hardware, which most of you computer illiterate Apple fan-boys don't understand. The main reason PC dominates it the choices you have when building and upgrading your PC. Apple is so limited in what you can do, that it's not even worth using.

@Pugzy 1199$?!? I knew they were expensive, but dang that's even more than I thought.
I have a custom built, i5, 8gb RAM and 1gb Radeon 7850 graphics card PC build that cost less than 700$ and it can obviously smoke that on everything!
I feel bad now. I saw a person at my fencing class with a Apple laptop, and I laughed. too far to laugh. just feel bad for the suckers now. |

| @Pugzy ...You sure? I've had my MacBook for 6 years, My Windows? 3. My Mac runs like Sonic compared to that thing. I would like to rethink. I'm not addicted to apple. Though. Main post: I've fixed the iPad problem. |
