My great grandfather was a freemason.
He had to join through a church group.
Explain that to me. |

probably because the only freemasons he knew were in that church, and you need to know a few freemasons in order to file a petition to join at the local lodge
at least, in some areas |

Everyone on the churches staff was a Freemason.
And I think either that same great grandfather or another one of mine was a pastor to. |

that doesnt mean freemasonry is related to such religious organizations
freemasonry just happens to be made up of people from different religions
discussion or religion and politics arent even allowed inside the lodges |
