| I did everything that the ROBLOX blog said when implementing sounds, yet it still won't play. Any help? |

Tons of people are having this problem.
First, let's make sure your script is right.
x=game.Workspace.Sound -- make this your sound
x:Play()
If this doesn't work, then there's sadly no hope. I have no idea what's up with sounds. |

| Yeah, that's my exact script basically. I've tried with LocalScripts and regular Scripts, nothing works. |

Oh yeahhhh.
Be sure the volume is up.
I messed that up when I first worked with sounds. I got so frustrated because the only thing I had to do to finish off my guns was add sound. The sound was so low of a volume that it didn't work. :p |

| What volume do you suggest making it? |

| Uhhh.. I'd just max it out. I don't know the exact interval for sound. The max is either 1, 100, or 1000. I don't remember truly. |

| I think the roblox catalog plays it as 1 volume and 1 pitch |

so, this basically
local s = Instance.new("Sound") -- or you can change it to where your sound is and remove s.SoundId
s.SoundId = "http://www.roblox.com/asset/?id=110735374" s.Volume = 1 s.Looped = true s.archivable = false
s.Parent = game.Workspace
wait(5)
s:play() |

If they're just not Playing in game, trying Playing them twice to see if it works. Sounds would play until their data is loaded, so the first time you Play them, nothing happens because they need to load the data. The second time, they work.
A way to avoid this is to preload the assets: http://wiki.roblox.com/index.php/Preload |
