| story is becoming less and less relevant since we have things like multiplayer, sandbox games, open world design, etc |

we've had all of those for quite some time though the medium is just now discovering its potential for storytelling, all i'm worried about is developers forgetting about gameplay in the process |

I agree and disagree at the same time.
It seems like halfway through all the characters were just bickering with each other like petty schoolkids, and Franklin was trying to be the intermediary party although he himself was just bickering with Lamar or whoever and trying to act like the smart one.
Micheal's family made too much of an uproar about him being a criminal, why didn't they just leave him for good if they didn't like him that much? Oh right, money.
Trevor is probably the most interesting one, from the trailers i thought he would be the dumb redneck but it seems he has at least some intelligence, plus i think he is the most humorous character IMO.
Franklin was a nice throwback to CJ of the San Andreas era, but after a while i found him to become annoying when trying to console the 2 others and act all smart.
The heists were a pretty nice addition, i liked the way it could go one of different ways depending on the route you chose and the people you hired. I thought there would be more of them, or if not at least more ways to do one heist rather than just 2 or sometimes even no options.
The ending was alright. [Spoilers]. I chose deathwish, but i felt all the 'Villains' were killed off to easy, all it took was a few bullets and they died, i wasn't expecting a massive boss battle or anything, but they could have at least put up a fight back. |

I prefer story over multiplayer. Just look at Bioshock or Infamous. No multiplayer, but still great story. |

| Ending is quite depressing/sad/touching if you choose a certain option. |

| @Spy, well, that's your opinion, others find Battlefield 3 to be a good game. |
