Look, I think we all know fake titles, names, thumbnails, and descriptions where a problem long before paid games. I'd rather get rid of paid games, but the mods would disagree, however the least we can do is add some requirements that cut down on spam:
Before becoming a paid game, a game most have 5k visits, (is that to high? maybe 3k?) and at least 80% likes. (As opposed to dislikes)
If someone has been banned/warned for fake games or scamming more than 3 times, they will not be aloud to have paid games. At all.
If the game and the creator meet the requirements above, they can make the game paid, however the following things will automatically happen:
-One or more thumbnails showing the actually game itself -An update log -Comments enabled!!!(Though we really need to cut down on spam for this one to work)\
This is reasonable, allowing people to make money off games, but at the same time ensuring that people do not get scammed out of there money at the same time.
Also, just an afterthought, maybe there should be a map of the place, that people can enter for free, but only to see the map, like its offline and they can't actually play the game, just see a 3D model of the map. |

| I think we should just do away with paid games, you get money off of games anyway... Why double, maybe triple the money you make? |

That in my opinion is a big no. I will now state why. Some good games start off as paid access then become popular, some of the part occasionally is because it is paid access. I disagree with the idea that the likes and dislike ratio should also determine whether you can have a paid access game or not. Some people have an opinion whether they like the game or not, I would hate to have my game unable to be paid access just because these people didn't like it.
I don't think someone should be restricted from paid access games just because they've been warned or banned more then three times. Some people are falsely accused of scamming and get warned or banned. I've seen it happen. That would be unfair, especially to those who have talent and want to profit more off of their game.
"One or more thumbnails showing the actually game itself An update log Comments enabled!!!(Though we really need to cut down on spam for this one to work)"
I don't quite understand how the thumbnails showing the game would work. People can just move the map away from the camera that takes the screenshot. Be more elaborate how this would work please.
I also don't quite understand how the update log would work, would it show what models and changes in the settings were added into the game? Would the user have to type it themselves? Once again, please be more elaborate on how this could be inserted.
Commenting enabled. This may not solve anything for a lot of people don't play the games and continue to post negative comments, or just spam as you mentioned. There is really no way to fix that.
A 3D model of a map that you can view... Some places can't tolerate this. Some places have things that are hidden and if you add this you may easily ruin the challenge of the game.

People generally dislike fake games.

A user would be able t appeal to this rule, however if he tries 3 times and get refused each time he can not appeal any more for awhile.

Once again, please be more elaborate on how this could be inserted. I suppose its not the best plan, but it could hel a little. The creator must type a reason for why he updated it.

Paid games ultimately boil down to how much trust you have in the game creator. If you're smart, then don't play the game until it has those 80% likes and 3k place visits while being paid access. You shouldn't ever pay for a game that doesn't have a trial though. Intelligent game devs will have a seperate trial place on their place list, or on another account, that lets you play a demo of the game before purchasing it.
Rule taken away from this: If the place isn't popular and is paid access -- don't play it. |

| I agree with OP except for minimum visits - some payed access games are BETA/ALPHA tests of the game that aren't supposed to have alot of people visiting them until finished. |

I think while this idea is going in the right direction, wouldn't quite work. I think this would hurt paid access game creators. I think of starmarine614's theme park. His game is paid access until it is completed. If we forced that game to get 5K visits before being allowed to be paid access, the incentive to become paid access until opening would probably be reduced, as it would have already been effectively released to the masses.
I think the best thing to do is to allow us to continue to watch the games page and deal with the false advertised games and scam games on a case by case basis. We don't want to cover everybody with a negative cloth just because we've had some bad apples. |

I agree with mod. There are some good/bad bits, but overall paid access has been a success.
