Go to steampowered (google it because links are bannable qq)
(If you don't have a Steam account)
then click on learn more, the 3 buttons at the bottom of the screen are about the Steam Machines, essentially gaming PCs that are like consoles.... The pros of both in one box. |

Well, no. They didn't.
The first ever controller was on a Magnovox odyssey.
However, PCs later grabbed the 'joystick' and that was then used for things such as the Atari 2600,
Which then evolved into the NES controller. |

Well, to the general public anyway, the above is true.
Pong was made on a PC, they needed controllers for that. |
