Moving to an update that is being overshadowed by the price floor rant- Sounds. Yay. Thanks for making this oversuggested idea everyone wants.
Well I am typing on an xbox (SO SLOWWWWW AGHHHHHH ;-; >:.U)and I only skimmed the blog post so I will be minimalistic.
1) Pricing. One thing I will never stand for is having building resources restricted by money or BC. (Hint hint PBS and mega servers. And galleries and videos. And adverts.) You can make everything else BC only for all I care but hands off building. >:U 250 is waaaaay too high and it is designed to force quality. I get that.
Then how about we impose number restrictions instead- You may only upload 3 15 second sound clips per week and one unlimited sound clip per week. That way NBCers can enjoy music as well whilst still forcing quality- Bad clip? Wait ages to correct it. Also if a mod bans you for sound you cannot upload for a fortnight.
2) Music and ambience. My initial responce to the blog's title: "Yay! Now I can make that stepmania game. I think I will add DAS LOVE BOP by TBQF to it, some of F-777's Twisted fate. Oh I am so jerkish >:3 (TBQF (AKA Renard) and F-777 are the best music producers ever. Check them out. This quote took 6 minutes to make. XBOX WHY SO SLOOOWWWW >:U)" Then I saw that we can have only 15 second long titles. For 250 robux. Me: ...You must die.
Background music is essential for ambience. And ambience is essential for master game making. My example is an RPG called Lost Odessey, The most morbid game ever. (Spoiler alert: After 30 years of thinking that his child is dead, Jumped off a cliff, Kaim finds her again, Only for her to die right in front of his eyes. Yeah.) If you did not read that spoiler- Everyone the protagonist cherishes dies. EVERYONE. 5 exceptions, 3 of which hardly counts. Each death would be a "Meh, okay" Moment if not for that enchanting piano music. That music makes each death oh so much more memorable and so much sadder. I have spent half an hour on this topic so I will TL;DR- One unlimited time music piece per week for BGM ambience. By unlimited I mean 20 minutes.
3) Ambience manipulation. I am not a scripter so I am probably about to get spammed with scriptable comments. I accept your wrath. TL;DR For boredoms sake- A- Play a game called rez or the sequel child of eden. It is a shooter game where every sound harmonises into a song. The BGM (Ken Ishii. Why are you so awesome.) and sounds (And the amazing graphics.) change according to your gameplay, Becoming more vibrant if you play well. That would be awesome to reproduce.
So that is it. Enjoy. I guess. 40 minutes of my life dumped here. |

there is a work-around
you speed up the music so it's 15 seconds long
you upload
insert the music and lower the pitch
win |

| Pitch is how high or low the sound is, not how long it is. |

A fortnight is one 48000th of a millenium. Too hard? It's also one 4800th of a century. Still too hard? Do you know how much a 480th of a decade is? No? ...How about a 48th of year? Still too hard? Half a month?
... Two weeks... Should be obvious...
Well, it could be an English term I guess, can't hate you for not getting it if that's the case. |

| What he means by pitch, is that when the pitch of a sound is raised or lowered, it speeds up or slows down respectivly. (on roblox) So if you were to speed up a sound with the same pitch to speed ratio as roblox, you could theoretically upload a sound longer than 15 seconds. |

Hm.
Well, that's theorectical and requires proportionate mathematics, then. I'd prefer a downright leigitmate thing that doesn't require proportionate mathematics. |

What about 250 for the first 15 seconds or less than after that each second is 17 robux a second ( 250/15 rounded up) |

| I guess we could do that, have roblox just make a pitch compression system that speeds it up to be exactly 15 seconds and then it tells you what pitch it needs to play it normaly. |

Well Zolo, I'm pushing for a more NBC friendly use- So money doesn't really matter. :/
And grantox, I'd prefer an outright legitimate and harmless solution. Think about the quality of the sound when doing such a thing.
And my thank you for the support mr. Cid and Luke. |

ToomuchLexia would be an addiction to a lot of words. You would be thinking of MinimumLexia, if you're thinking of ficticous ailments. |
