ROBLOX is a company that relies on it's users to stay up and running.
This means that every time someone buys ROBUX or Builders Club, he/she is contributing to Roblox's company (maintenance, employees, etc).
This may seem like an unfair update to ROBLOX from a user's view, but we have to look at the other side of things. In reality, if you were to start a company, wouldn't your goal be to get some money (apart from the money you'd already need to start it up and run it)?
Another thing I'd like to add is: Don't blame anyone. Don't blame any administrators, any moderators, anyone. Moderators have nothing to do with ROBLOX updates. They keep the site "clean" from things that break the rules (such as someone insulting a user, something very common these days). The administrators and developers look for ways to make Roblox better in many ways. Not just the games and features, but also the company's growth. Imagine Roblox being so popular, with lots of workers and users.
Finally, money has always been and is still (sadly) the "steering wheel" for a company. Price Floor is an update that encourages users to buy Robux and Builders Club for easy purchasing of clothing, as non-paying users will find it more difficult (you can't have everything in this world for "free", it's all about the effort you put into things so you get what you want, so you get to your goal).
I'm trying to explain this a way that everyone understands, so if anyone has anything to say, just reply and I'll try to respond any questions (although I don't fully know about how ROBLOX works from the "inside", I know basic things of how a company and business works).
TL;DR version: Roblox is a company and it needs money. (You might start arguing with me on this version. Read the above.)
Thanks for reading! :) |

It's really annoying, now my head hurts about it. It needs money to run SERVERS.

@rockandroll6751 If Roblox was bankrupt, it would have been shut down. This isn't the case, as I'm talking about keeping it up and running (not struggling). |

| I wish people would stop complaining about it in a way that is just not formal and obviously results in no responses from the moderation team. It's impossible and I'm not surprised. |

| I see your point but having to wait a month as a new player? Once a new player joins and realises that they will probably leave before a month. |

Yes, they need money to keep the game alive, but by making this price floor, it's slaughtering another aspect of what made ROBLOX a free game.
You could search clothing, find a nice and cheap pair of clothing and you would feel awesome, like it was a great deal for such cool clothes.
Now they're tempting people into either waiting 30 days, conventional methods (selling stuff themselves, games etc.) or using ROBUX/BC.
Another privilege made harder to get thanks to the free game ROBLOX.
(I'll take my hate for delivery pls.) |

Milo, Google is the second most valuable company in the world. Roblox isn't comparable to it.
Google has a value of $113.7 billion. |

@lordneo The point is to get more users to purchase BC or ROBUX. In my post I explained why it's a priority to Roblox Corp.
On the bright side, new players have starter clothes and cheap hats to purchase. |

Keep in mind that Roblox isn't a Non Profit Organization.
The update could be simply one of the ideas to get more premium/robux purchases in action. I have nothing against it.
Think about it this way: Roblox could be dead if it wasn't for the money coming in from ROBUX/BC purchasing and advertisements. |

| @lordneo Roblox still is a f2p game. You can play without paying. ROBUX and BC purchasing is optional. |

This will decrease the amount of players that come here and the players already here. If I'm a new player to a game I know I'd atleast play it for a month IF I like it before wanting to buy something from it. 300 tix is way too much. It should probably be reduced to 35-70 tix as minimum if you think about new players but otherwise I'd say for existing players 50-100 but having seperate pricing would be unfair. |

@alexrocks911 Apart from advertisements, they didn't. Remember they had very few employees back then. I would guess they were volunteers, and, if not, then Roblox started up with enough money.
Banks actually help you start up a company. There are offers like that. |

ROBLOX was doing fine, they didn't need this, they are just greedy.
No NBCer wants to wait 2 months to buy matching Shirt and Pants for there character. |

| @Carlos9852 They would support suggestions and ideas from yourself if you have a better idea. Once you bought ROBUX, you can convert them to Tickets through Trade Currency (http://www.roblox.com/My/Money.aspx#/#TradeCurrency_tab) |
