[You do not need to read this part, you can just leaf through it. This essentially talks about what led up to WWII, and the beginning fights, and the politics behind it. In no way, shape, or form I am happy with any of what Germany, Italy, the USSR, Japan, or Spain did. I just talked about their strategy, and what they did to influence it.]
Europe has set the stage for one of the worst conflicts in human kind. Tensions have peaked in Germany, and essentially, the world will fight again. Not for the first time, and certainty not the last time. Lines were drawn, and then, began the invasion of Poland. I will step back a bit, and reveal what led up to this. The National Socialite party, led by Adolf, became an important part in this. He was a political leader of the time, and did what any half decent political leader would do. He slung mud on World War One, blaming it for every problem they have suffered. His campaign was altogether too effective, with the wounds of the war still stinging. He also fed their egos, with him saying the German race was far superior to every other race. This, you already know. However, there is something you may not know. They had touched Democracy, with no real effects. It was a complete disaster, while before they had Democracy, they were prosperous. This also helped Adolf's campaign to becoming the dictator of Germany. Soon, he had it running into perfect efficiency. Most people label Adolf as one of the worst strategic leaders ever. This is not true. He knew the power of industry, and spent much time to prepare for his world domination, that failed. This is a big reason that the war was as bad as it was.
But, while that was important, he also had powerful allies. Mussolini came into power. He became popular with some interesting tactics, and turned into a complete police state. He wasn't that remarkable as a figure. He worked on fixing Italy to rouse it into an industrial country, and had good interests for himself, and paths that made sense. Also, it is time to talk about the third nation that formed the Axis Powers. Japan. Japan always had an Emperor, but it soon became that the military leaders were in control. This, happened a while ago, and no real news at all. They did what they thought was best for Japan, and nobody could fault them for that. They had already a trained military, and strong pride in their country. From all standpoints, and they're record of military engagements, they felt invincible. So then, they worked on cutting up Asia, to benefit the Japanese Empire.
These nations would shape history, as we know it. The first major conflict that has any relative importance on World War Two, wasn't even a real battle Germany fought in. The Spanish Civil War became somewhat of a test trial for Germany, to see whether they were ready or not. They ran some tests of early forms of Blitzkrieg during this period. The results were most satisfactory for Germany. However, this wasn't the only reason for Germany sending supplies. Spain could have become a fascist nation, and allied with Germany. However, the results were too little, and too late. Spain never offered any help for either side during the war, having internal conflicts to deal with.
Now, these events shaped history. The Axis Powers had Germany, Japan, Italy, and the USSR. By all practical standpoints, they were unstoppable. Asia would fall between Japan and the USSR, and Europe stood little chance with the USSR, Germany, and Italy on their boarders. This could turn into a very scary situation, very fast. Not everyone saw this however, and little was done to do much. Austria and Czechoslovakia were the first nations to fall, however, these were from their own will. Somewhat unimportant, Memelland was also taken from Lithuania, on 1939. A short while later, Poland was invaded.
Britain and France pretty much drew the line at Poland. Czechoslovakia was pretty much it, they said. Invade Poland, and we fight you. This happened. Very few battles mattered, and in the Siege of Warsaw finished off Poland. It was split in between Germany and the USSR. The Winter War started, and Finland was invaded by the USSR. Also, during 1939, Japan attacked China at Changsha.
The dawn of 1940 brought an invasion into Norway. Germany fought Norway, mainly because they got their iron from Sweden, and it had to be shipped through Norway. They needed to keep it open. The Battle of Drøbak Sound ended in a Norway victory. In the rare occasion of history, an old fortress with new recruits, were able to defeat a new ship. This delayed the Germans from taking over Norway, and managed to get the cabinet, the king, and the gold reserve out of Norway. The Netherlands soon fell, and so did Belgium. These tactics were effectively fast. And then, May 10th, 1940, begins the Battle of France. You are to take place in this fight.

[GERMAN SIDE]
German soldiers at this point were trained, professional killers, brainwashed into the doctrines of nationalism for their homeland. As kids, they were raised from birth to one day fight to reclaim the lost glories of their country. They come with years of tactical preparation and tons of manpower. Together, they make the German War Machine, one of the deadliest and most professional soldiers to fight against.
German soldiers were usually armed with the Karabiner 98k bolt-action rifle, and the MP 40 for sub machine gun. Rarely did a soldier had anything beside that, and if they did, it usually was a Gewehr 43 later on in the war. Keep this in mind when you pick out load outs for your character. Kars are not really that bad rifles, and MP 40 are pretty decent. Gewehr 43s are somewhat more interesting, and of course, you can google German weapons to see more weapons to choose from.
German soldiers will fight they're way through France, Africa with the Italians, Russia, and the Balkans and will fight tooth and nail upon the retreat back across the Rhine after the Invasion of Normandy turns the war around.
An average German soldier is a young white male, from the ages 16-34, and was ruthless. They had no real moral set besides the bond with their comrades, and if they did, they kept it covered for the fear of punishment.
German troops will enter the war in the 15th Infantry Division, and fight the Magiot Line.
[BRITAIN SIDE]
Britain troopers are fierce fighters, and most are better solo fighters. They are free men of either native England or the many colonies of the Crown, fighting for the obligation to their nation and the Royal Family. They fight to their last breath, and for the crown to be protected. They are not quite as expendable, and they can operate many things will relative efficiency, and usually every soldier you meet has a second skill in explosives.
British troops usually had a Lee-Enfield rifle, and a Sten gun for a sub machine gun. They also had a Bren machine gun, that was quite common too. For pistols, the Webley Mk.VI pistol was quite common. Like for the Germans, they used more weapons. You can google them. Keep this in mind when creating their load out.
Britain soldiers will fight in France, Africa, Poland, and many other nations, and eventually fighting their way to Germany.
An average Britain trooper is a young male, from the ages 18-40, and they had a moral set, which made them much more human then their enemies.
Britain troops will enter the war as the 5th Infantry Division, and fight the Germans to protect the Magiot line.

[Notes. The war will drastically change as it happens, so it probably won't follow history. Also, everyone who plays is on a different time line, and none of the events are aligned with everyone else. Also, German troopers will speak English unless you really want me to use google translate, if you are on the German's side.] |

| Josh; Declined. Sturmgewher 44 was used in combat during 1943, and this fight takes place in 1940. The Browning Hi-Power is also an issue, mainly because it's not a German pistol. |
