I have played ROBLOX on my computer and when I got on today I went to play a game. When I joined the playerlist, the health bar, my player, other players, the toolbar and parts of the map were black and white checkerboard. Anybody have a fix to this? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled.

That is not your OS it is your computer. Click the start menu(in the bottom left corner of the screen) and then right click Computer(or My Computer) and click Properties. Try to locate something that says Windows edition or Windows Version and under it give me the name of what it says.

Open Control Panel(in the start menu) then look for Windows Update. Under Windows Update click Check for updates. If any updates are found you should probably update them. This may require that you reboot your PC when it is done.

When you open Control Panel? That shouldn't open a web browser. Are you sure you followed the steps correctly?

When I open control panel I go over to Windows Update and click and it opens a browser in my main web browser which is Firefox. The website says I need IE 5 or over so I go onto IE8 and it still opens in Firefox, so I go into Tools above my tabs in IE and find Windows update and click and that's when it just loads and loads and loads looking for updates.

Which website? I don't believe it has anything to do with my browser. I just want to be able to play ROBLOX and people say it's my graphics card but it isn't then other people say it's my graphics option in the game settings. I just know that this has happened to other people because I looked it up before I posted this but found no answer to my question of how to fix this. :l

Well you are using Windows XP which Microsoft stops supporting next year and I think you aren't even using service pack 3 OR service pack 2. This means your computer is really vulnerable to exploits. To fix the roblox problem you probally need to update your graphics drivers. Right click My Computer> Properties> Hardware> Device Manager. Expand the folder labeled Display Adapters. See if it says NVIDA or AMD. Post if it is AMD or NVIDA or if you don't see AMD or NVIDA post the name of it.

Great but if you want the problems solved do the steps I said to help you update your graphics drivers. Also Microsoft stops supporting Windows XP next year so you should probally upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8 soon.

Google Intel and then click the first one. In the drop down menu titled Menu go down to Support > Downloads and Drivers > Automatically Find Drivers and Software. On the new page their should be a button that says Check your system for updates. Click it. You may be prompted to install or allow a plugin to run. If you are promoted just press Yes/Install/etc
