The first reason is more relevant to clans than the second.
1. It will fundamentally increase the loyalty players have for their clans in general; having a clan's uniform will be rendered more important. Uniforms no longer cost 1 ticket or 1 ROBUCK, so players will determine and evaluate which of their clans are most worthy of their respective activity. Basically, uniforms are going to mean something. People are going to think to themselves which of their clans they should roll out 300 tickets for, and so they're going to have more loyalty towards a clan that they've invested in with an amount they deem significant.
It'll also have a link impact of affecting activity. Right now, many soldiers are members of several various clans which they swear allegiance to. Most foot soldiers of clans tend to be noobs who don't have a lot of ROBUX. Because most clan recruits are going to likely be saving up their currency over an extended period of time, they're going to likely spend their tickets on a uniform for an individual clan and stay in that clan. Why would a Conscript of RAT save for about a month to spend 300 tickets on an RAT uniform, only to clan hop and begin saving up tickets for some other clan? While this may be perceivable, it's going to be less of a common occurrence.
2. Right now, game creators make up about 93% of the money makers in ROBLOX. And some of them, especially the makers of copied games like The Complex, don't work hard to make these games. They may literally copy someone else's game and then end up making 2,000,000 tickets+ on the game. Whereas in clothing creation, especially if it's high-quality clothing, an individual may spend hours or even days on an outfit and end up with a measly 30-50 tickets cumulatively. If a clothing maker allots their clothes as higher than about 15 tickets, the comments are filled with complaining that usually involves noobs deeming the clothing to be "overpriced."
At least with the update, the people who have 400+ sells on a single shirt will have 10K R$ for the hard work required to create it. And then the copiers will likely profit little.
There are tons of people who don't mind selling their high-quality clothing for 1 tix and R$1. But then these high-quality people who aren't trying to make a profit are also competing with other high-quality people that work extremely hard on clothing but are in fact trying to make a profit. Ultimately, the people who try to realistically make a decent amount of virtual currency through clothes making are undermined with the former pricing system, but this update makes for a more equal, fair opportunity for clothing makers. |

'it will increase loyalty' No it will mean the better OBC you have the less of this 'loyalty' you have to have. This would only be a valid point if it wasn't so affected by BC type.

It's not going to make people more loyal.
It's going to drive everyone away. |

If you copy a shirt the quality is lowered by default, So it's not really like it matters...

People aren't loyal because they can afford something. They're loyal because of their actions while in the group. And if they aren't given a chance because some groups require uniforms at all events (Including mine, but I may have to revise this), then they'll never get to be loyal.

| @DaBubs How am I supporting the extortion of money from children? Do you know what the word "extortion" means? It refers to gaining money through coercive, threatening means. There is nothing but a product and consumer relationship when it comes to selling clothes, and there's nothing wrong with clothing makers wanting to get a bit of virtual coin for their toil when it's all in good fun on ROBLOX. |

| Also, you have to realize that most clan recruits that make up the bulk of clans aren't the mediocrely-educated C&G types. They're complete noobs who will follow the direction of any leadership. So if these noobs have to spend more time attaining a uniform, they're likely going to spend more time in an individual clan that they invested 300 tickets into. |

waiting a month or two while being called a noob for a month because you cant afford a t shirt will simply increase cyber-bullying and more people playing for a day or two and then giving up
just about everyone who doesnt have a shirt or something that looks decent is insulted |
