| We learned about the thirteen colonies a few years ago too, but now we are doing more detailed learning and stuff. |

Yeah they followed that approach as well, basic info in 4th grade, and really getting deeper into it 6th or 7th grade.
Middle school sucked for me. |

I did the thirteen colonies in 8th grade
But I had the super fun teacher that got us right into political debates and roleplay, which is more fun than it seems.. haha |

Oh cat, you're so lucky.
My teacher spoke basically in the same tempo, same pitch, same speed the entire time we studied it then.
If it wasn't for my interest in History, then I would've just sat there listening to my ears ringing. |

Yeah at first I had a teacher that gave us bookwork every day so he can eat at the back of the class and take a several month vacation every year
Yeah he got fired, we had an awesome long term substitute and the school board liked him so much he's now a permanent teacher wooo |

Home school has it's ups and downs
I prefer regular school, you know the ones without wangs on the lockers, walls, teachers, desks, etc |
