House Name: House of Vlaik Government: Monarchy Culture: Northwestern( Very cold) Coat of Arms: 3 black stripes meeting at the center in front of a blue background. DOMINANT RELIGION: Order of Frost( Sorta like Christianity) Villages: Sekfiku( 50 people), Alonm( 38 people) and Fortcin( 46 people) CASTLE NAME: Castle Snow Timber MILITARY: 50 hunters( Archers and knife throwers), 25 Guardians( Sword and Maceman) and 2 captains. COUNTRY DESCRIPTION: A land of snow and ice, the woods are plenty with wood and food and the mountains reak of metals. But vicious creatures and the long winters aren't something to worry about when you think of the possibility you might never wake up one cold morning. Brief History: Mostly exiled criminals, rebels, hunters and the poor, Vlaik became a nation due to the simple need to fight off the dreaded mountain wolfs( Awful things....Only way to end them is to kill them). Gulvi became the leader simply because he killed the most wolfs( Not much else to do). Ruler: Gulvi the White Military Commander: Valnit Polinkv Starting Captains: Lukiv Donel( 35 hunters) and Sergif Weinbik( 25 guardians and 15 hunters) FOUNDED: 1000 AD _________________________________________________________________________________________
"Welcome, King Gulvi the white! I am your new Advisor, Ser Scapula! I know you've never really taken interest in the land, mi'lord, but now I guess, I must tell you. You, are, unfortunately in the middle of the land. To your north is the Horde Bozik, to the east is Horde Myalik, one of the most barbaric and ruthless hordes in the land, it'd be good to stay on their good-side. In their land are various horde, Horde Mai, Horde Tyzuth, Horde Neyrin. To the south is Barony Ioka, possibly the weakest of the factions outlying yours."
"Unfortunately, my first news for you, Mi'lord, is rather...dark. Rew has been under-siege by an army of bandits for days, their provisions are running thin, soon they will begin to starve. A small amount of bandit villages have sprung up in your hand, hoping to take it over. The most notable 'bandit' lord is Godefred the second, leader of the Ionil tribe. Qeue is also suffering from a famine, so it looks like you'll have to relieve Rew soon or face your entire kingdom falling into ruin! On a side-note, a message from House Kyteai arrived at the step of the castle a few hours ago, you may want to view it." |

(Just.... YOU DIDN'T EVEN GET A VILLAGE NAME RIGHT!....) "Order Lukiv to find out how many bandits there are, and to cut off their supplies." "Order Sergif to go to the bandits east side near Fortcin, and prepare to force them to the cliffs. The bandits won't be so tough when they are facing maces behind iron shields." "Finish it off by getting the carts and wagons behind Sergif to quickly move enough food to Sekfiku to prevent the famine."
"Also, I would like that letter." |

Lukiv reports back that the bandits have outnumber us 5 to one, it seems unwise to go up against them.
Sergif complies and goes off to do so, he will return shortly with his remaining men, he acknowledges your next order.
The letter will arrive shortly. |

"Lukiv....Hm.... Distract them quickly while Sergif goes to their side. If they are being hammered by arrows, they can't fire at Sergif's troops as they advance. Make sure you hit their archers first, otherwise Sergif might get picked off."
Gulvi opens the letter, and reads it. General Valnit, his stepson, looks over his shoulder. |

(Umm.... No.... He's just going to cross me, kill all my troops and take over my land!!!)
Gulvi throws the letter in the fire." I won't let the hordes cross me again... Not like Lostpine...." "Lostpine, sir?" Valnit asks, not remebering the battle. "It was before you time... It's what caused me to be forced into this wasteland.... It was fall, the leaves as yellow and bright as the sun..."
------------2 hours later----------- "...And so, thats what happened in Lostpine..." Gulvi finishes. "That.... I'm sorry, my lord...." Valnit quickly leaves, and Gulvi snickers. "We had only wood swords and arrows, and not quiet grown yet.... What, against iron plated giants that had already plundered fortunes?...." Gulvi remembers the haunting memory.

| The fight has begun, their archers have routed but their spearmen are obviously vastly superior to yours, they're practically slaughtering them all. |

(Um.... Swordsmen can just cut the spears.... But yea, I'm losing my Macemen!!) Lukiv and his men try something different: They shoot a arrow message to the walled village and asks them to drop stones on the spearmen. Lukiv's archers continue to fire at the Spearmen.

They do as asked, eventually the enemy is almost near routing until a wagon is wheeled up outside the battlefield, ominously staying there as the driver jumps off. |

| The wagon's sides fall off, revealing, a odd, multiple barreled machination....then it fires red short sparks of fire, wiping out both friend and foe on the battlefield, your men begin to flee in sight of this odd metal contraption. |

Your main host of spearmen have retreated, but the bandits have retreated.
Now, about this weapon, it doesn't look like something from this time, it looks oddly alien to you...like you shouldn't be near it, it emulates a feel of depression and death.
[If you read the plot, you would know why.] |
