There's this girl with special needs in my class whom I think has a crush on me. Honestly, I want to send the idea that I don't want to be around her, but she can't catch onto my social cues. To top that she's got an aid teacher to look out for her inside the class so no one makes her upset. (and so she can understand what's needed to be done in class)
I shouldn't say think either. I know she's onto me by the fact that she at least wants to be close to me, (that being inside my personal bubble via hugging and resting her head on my shoulder.) and that she compliments me more in a day than any other girl does in a year.
She's nice at least, so when responding to her I keep what I say more vague than sarcastic, but she really isn't my type. I ask this because my parents keep making jokes about it and I'm sure OT can come up with something better than, "just go along with it."
TL;DR How do I get rid of special needs girl who has crush on me without being mean? |

Make up a slightly believable lie on why she can't be around you.

@SupahBoshi64, She forgets stuff too easily. Besides my name she hardly remembers anything I say to her much less what the teacher says to her.

let her down slowly with stronger social cues better than flat out reject her
but what's worse is leading her on and not saying anything

Just get a gf yourself, so she'll have to back off. Unless she's the jealous type and just gets furious...

@PyroEX, Her aid is the biggest worry to me. I hate the special ed staff because they're to fanatically psycho over their precious students. I knew a kid who got expelled for sneezing facing the general area of a special student and he got suspended. He even said sorry after he did it, yet the aid made a huge rant about it why the person who sneezed was one of the lowest forms of life this world has ever seen. The level of protectiveness is ridiculous.

Easy,just say you appreciate the attention but you are not ready for a serious relationship yet. Just lett her know that you can still be good friends(the good is optional)

@BloxaBrick, She's skinny, but her face is covered with acne. It kind of draws a point in the sand when one of her white caps bursts while laying her head against my shouldering as I can't help but watch it dribble down my shirt.

Pretend she's non existent Spread a bad rumor around about yourself that will keep her away Get your friends to say negative things about you to her Start acting like your crazy or something like that Try to avoid her at all costs If all else fails, bring out the pepper spray

@md
Can easily backfire. What if the rumors about himself reach his gf/crush? And what if it reaches people who will actually believe it?
