As a species. I feel like everybody is mentally ill. I was in World Geography class and we had to label the continents and latin america, then on another map label and color all of the regions.
"hey nick, is Greenland in north america?" yes. OBVIOUSLY YES.
"hey nick, is the US considered latin america?" Ummm no.
"hey nick, where's south america?" *I noticed he colored both north and south america the same color...* ummm, you did it wrong...
"hey nick so where's India?" Maybe near the INDIAN ocean, perhaps?
"hey nick, so north africa is definetly NOT in europe, right?" yes....
^ All real and legitimate questions people asked me. And this is supposed to be the "Advanced upper level" class?!
Makes me want to fail just to see how stupid the on-level kids are, and watch as they praise me like a god for knowing that Russia is both in Europe and Asia. (Oh yea, that was another question asked to me)
Had to vent.

it's not humans, it's because they're (most likely) americans
americans dont learn geography much, nor care about it. |

@Sapun
Yes. Texas, to be more specific. It's funny because we're actually considered higher up educationally (a private school in most other states = our public schools, apparently).
So really they're the above average with a good school program and just flat out refuse to learn that South America is below North America.
