Last night I went to Riot Fest in Chicago.
For those of you who don't know, it's a mashup concert of a bunch of big-name bands playing at one huge festival. Every rock fan and freakshow in town comes to see it, which makes watching the crazy people there almost as entertaining as the bands themselves.
Saw Blondie, The Selecter, Public Enemy, the Violent Femmes, Blink 182, and a slew of other bands in one night.
Ask me anything. |

Speaking of...interesting neighborhoods, I had to drive through the South Side in order to get to the concert.
That feeling when you know every auto parts store is a thinly-veiled chop shop.
Also, I swear you can't go two blocks without seeing a pawnshop and a Cash4Gold place there. |
