Well here we are again. It's always such a pleasure.
I'm getting rather tired of the exploits. I've been nice, so , yea I'm going to share my honest opinions of the exploits on ROBLOX and the admin reactions to it. If you're an admin, I wouldn't be offended by this as it's the truth.
So, we'll start at the basics. What exactly IS an exploit? According to wikipedia, an exploit is: "An exploit, in video games, is the use of a bug or glitches, rates, hit boxes, or speed, etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers.[1] It is often colloquially abbreviated sploit."-Wikipedia
So we'll use this as our definition. ROBLOX has seen a few generations of exploits. The most prominent being: -DLL. Opened up the toolbox ingame so a user could edit the game freely. My Prevention: Checked when the game selection table has more than 0 items in it.
-Chatting Command Line. Multiple variations. Lets users speak code that the game compiles. My Prevention: Character limit. This is bypassable as ROBLOX (for whatever dumb reason) lets users speak while connecting (yet they're connected) and if they put a swear word in their code, chatted event scripts don't get it.
--------------------------------Let's Ask Some Admins What They Think------------------------ The following are emails sent to me, or forum replied from mods. In this first situation, I exclaimed to Shedletsky (John) that I could easily detect the exploit process with C++. He replied "Run Cheatengine in kernel mode (there's a checkbox to enable this somewhere) and then try to find the process from C++." I did some experimenting. I downloaded Cheat Engine and attempted to play Maplestory, SD Gundam Online and Arma II and Arma III. All of these programs detected the program, in kernel mode, and told me to close it.
I created a Forum Bomb with my fan's help to grab admin attention and reply for the exploiting issue. Thanks to the work of my fans, we got a reply.
MasterChiefAlpha"We are aware of the in-game exploits some of you are experiencing and have written in about. Rest assured that we are working on resolving these issues."
They say they are working to resolve these issues. Their methods clearly aren't working. I can understand taking their time with unknown bugs, but when a vast majority of ROBLOXians (1 in 20) have this exploit, every game with a server running has the tendency to be exploited.
I will personally not be renewing my TBC because I'm not paying for a service that is a free for all. I signed up for TBC as it was advertised as having more places. However when somebody comes in and deletes every server, it mightaswell not be considered a place, which equates to me not fully getting the service as-advertised.
If you read this, put a link to this forum post as a shout in any group you can. The exploit-free ROBLOX was great. The new updates are mediocre at best (dynamic lighting was amazing, it cancels out the waste-of-time minecraft clone terrain), the least they can do is make their game exploit-free. Put this link on your profile, or start your own thread. Just spread this as much as you can. It's time to show the admins that the feature we want most on ROBLOX, is the ability to enjoy it as a safe environment. Unsafe, would be many of the scripts I've seen that parents would not want their kids seeing.
TL;DR Spread the word to stop exploiting. I recommend reading the entire thing. Make a similar post yourself. Let the admins know that the feature you want most, is an exploit-free environment.
----------------------------------------------------- Go ahead and ban me. I'm only expressing my true feelings about it and have backed up every claim I've made. No inappropriate language was used and no ROBLOX staff member was targeted with the blame of this issue. According to the Terms Of Service, this is within my rights.

It is impossible for all of the exploits on ROBLOX to be fixed. There will always be a way for a user to exploit the game. The only true way to prevent this would to be deleting the entirety of ROBLOX.

Every exploit or hack can be removed, but not all at once, and you can NEVER stop them.
C++ is a programming language that allows you to edit memories of things, you just gotta know the language very well to do it, and once you know how to do that, you can create as many hacks as you wish. because they will always find ways to get into the system.
If you want to protect your place, make supportive scripts in your parts. |

| You could terminate all of the current hacks/exploits but it is almost impossible to prevent new hacks / exploits. |

| Flame, that's not true. It's not always possible to terminate existing exploits. I programmed one in C# and ran a ROBLOX Lua script in a Cheat Engine Lua table, and it locally allowed me to have an invisible script builder. |
