I don't really care for what OP said, but a scientific theory is something that is heavily supported by evidence. |

| Why America though? There are other countries who believe in religion and are definately more devoted. |

Evolution is a theory because we haven't really seen it happen
We have 100% of the evidence but we haven't been studying long enough
Need few million years of data first |

| I wouldn't mind you if you said ''I believe in evolution'' or something, but you shove atheism down other's throats. Just because you believe in something doesn't mean we have to believe in that too. |

So is gravity. ____________________________________ But gravity can be proven numerous time, after all if there were no gravity,we would just go up into the air. Evolution however has many holes and even "top" scientist struggle agreeing on Evolution. We see creation,we don't see Evolution. |

| It's still a theory. There are other ways life could've come to be, and some people believe in those ways. It's not ignorance. In fact, it's just the opposite. |

@Weasel well then no one is going to side with you just to appease your way of thinking and lets not forget We can't be one of those *most ignorant countries* just consider the other countries who barely have any diversity in religion |

We can't really see evolution happen, because it is a long process. Like, EXTREMELY LONG.

| In my opinion, it's good America doesn't believe in evolution. It's much better than that. |

| The atomic theory can be proved using a STM and other devices. The LAW of gravity can be proved by dropping an object. Although evolution is probably true, it's not 100% certain. Don't get me wrong, I support the theory of evolution, but it's not perfect (Yet) |

Evolution is pretty much entirely proven so not believing in it is basically just being wrong.
Also, evolution =/= atheism. Just because evolution exists doesn't mean it wasn't started by a god or something. |

We did evolve from apes, and we have evidence that came from caves that are 500,000 years old.

>lolno it's not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gravitation#History_of_gravitational_theory
There are laws within Gravitational Theory, just like there are laws within every other theory. And you also did not even mention anything about Atomic Theory. <
If you paid attention to that, you'd see it is. Also, I didn't say anything about the Atomic theory because I was just stating that gravity is a law. |
