@The Fine
It's a movie that involves you moving the main character in the movie, Shooting in it, And interacting with what they do |

all your interactions with the world are incredibly shallow the "tough choices" you're given all yield the same result |

| TheAsassin, if you think that you choices don't matter you completely missed the point. The idea is that you're going to get screwed over no matter what, so in an apocalypse your life shouldn't be defined by it's results, but rather how you handled things while you could. |

| No, I'm saying that the game is trying to get you to respond to it the way you would in an actual hopeless circumstance. I'm pretty stubborn, so I cling to humane options in all circumstances. |

i get what you're trying to say but the player's choices are so meaningless that you start to feel that there's no point to them |

Let's dissect one of the "meaningless" choices. Let's start with Carley vs Doug. Carley has demonstrated her ability to defend herself and that she is an asset to the group. Doug is intelligent, but is mostly defenseless and may not be a practical asset for some time. Though no matter what one dies early and the other dies later, It demonstrates a lot about you depending on who you choose.
Or even killing the St Johns. Even though they're doomed anyway, do you get the satisfaction of revenge or avoid getting blood on your own hands? It's meaningless if you want it to be, but it says a lot about you and effects how you interact with the characters. |

sure, the choices make you think but so does watching characters on tv making those same choices |

| It makes it more personal. Your own input, no matter how small does make a difference. I definitely felt a much stronger connection to all of the characters in the game than I did in the TV show. |

Here's what the game SHOULD'VE been like: Saving Doug kills Carly Saving Carly, she uses her pistol to save Doug, and both live. That's how you need to make the decisions go. They're are too one-dimensional.

| Bigtiop, that creates a clear right and wrong option. That's black and white, that's too simple for TWD. TWD is all about sadistic choices with no right answer and grey morality. |
