Hey everyone, BaseReview here with yet another review. Today I decided to check out NFC's new base, Fort Caedis! Unfortunately, I was not very impressed. But, I'll talk more about it later.
So without further ado,let's begin!

-REVIEW-
Gahhhhh, why must they do this to me. Well, this review is going to be fairly negative, so if you must, avert your eyes. (Only warning)
Anyways, before I get into this, I REALIZE THE BASE IS IN BETA. (Just puttin' it out there).
So, as I usually do, I try to do my analysis of the base, during a group raiding it. (More defenders/attackers) And, today I had the pleasure to raid with UAF. It really was a huge flamewar going on the whole time, but still, it was pretty fun.
Now, I usually like to get the goods in before the bad. Good #1: Base doesn't look bad, there is a nice amount of detail, and it's nice. Good#2: The map layout is pretty cool, it has a bunch of flanking routes, to get to the main hub.
And now, for the bad. Unfortunately, this was the laggiest NFC base I've been to. Probably due to the fact that there is a bunch of unneeded bricks, which were used for minor details. It wasn't impossible to work with, but it was always really framey.
The second thing was (And both teams agreed) were the guns. I'm not someone who can really criticize guns (because I can't make them myself), but they were really, well.. Bad. The hitdetection was completely terrible, and the guns itself may have been a contributor to that lag. As well as invisible bullets (never fun), and a pointless(?) gun flash.
Finally, before I end my rant, I need to talk about the terminals. Seriously guys, 1 touch terminals? Seriously. When it comes to bases, that is the thing I hate the most. Especially since capturing a full core takes around 20 minutes each. An NFC can just swoop on in, and ruin all your progress. If you're using the Virium cores, then keep them that way. Make it progressively rise. Not full it completely when someone touches it.
Phew.
Anyways, my final thoughts on this: Don't put out a base unless it's completely done.
So, that's my review!Love it? Hate it? Post why!
And, thanks for reading!
Yours Truly,

| The base is Pre-Alpha, can't be considered BETA in its state. |

@Xyera BETA means ascetic differences and small changes are the only things that are left. BETA is open for testing. ALPHA means bugs and glitches are meant to be worked out, and are open for testing. Pre-Alpha means that there are A LOT of bugs needed to be fixed and shout not be released as a test.
This base fits under Pre-Alpha. |

Try to review the base when the fort is OUT OF BETA! Of course it's going to have errors! It's still in beta! We're working on some errors and problems right now. Give it a break, BaseReview. Try to redo this thing when the fort's out of beta.

So what you're saying is it's in BETA but simultaneously not?
Because that doesn't work, my friend.

| Thanks for the great compliments BaseReview. It was a rather smart decision for you to try out the base in it's BETA (Or Alpha according to legosonic) stage. There is totally nothing gonna be wrong with it in that stage. (sarcasm) |

@MrEpic9 Releasing a base in that state intends that it will be fully operational, hence the "released" part. It has bugs, sure, the problem is that you released it with THAT many bugs. |
