The radio starts up, but cuts off almost immediately. Gunfire, explosions, the big happy party twenty years ago, all playing out in my head. This is chaos. A missile flies towards the bunker, it gets zapped by the defense system. Gunshots ring out, three of my buddies are hit, and fall to the ground. I'm not going to look. Glance up, duck back down, explosion further down the barricade, more gunshots, then another missile coming in. It somehow evades the defense system, comes down near the barricade, and then there's a flash of light. Then nothing.
The year is 2144. Global war broke out for the third time, and it was worse than the last two combined. The history books amount the success, or the failure, of the war to a group of several individuals, one regiment, and several brave pilots. Historians debate and argue over what really started the war, be it several atrocities of terror across several countries, the destruction of two wonders of the world, or several conquerors who rose to power in 2126.
Today we turn the past to the present, and then we turn it to a future that should never, ever happen. This is world war 3, when fire rains from the sky, cities are demolished in a day, and chaos reigns in the desolated lands. You are a soldier, a pilot, an officer, one who will lead your faction to victory, or to its defeat.

{Factions: There are two main factions, Unity and the Coalition. Both have their perks, and either one can be played, or you can play as a small, third faction, called the Independent. No factions is evil, but they have different ideas about what the world should look like. The one thing the two major factions can agree upon is to not to fire nukes unless fired upon.
{Unity: North America, most of Europe, and small parts of Africa and Australia, Unity has good overseas transportation and plenty of navy forces. They also have strong anti-air defenses and equipment.
{Coalition: Most of Asia and South America, large portions of Africa, and a couple of footholds in Australia, the Coalition excels at land combat over rough terrain. The Coalition has the larger population of the two major factions, and therefore also has larger armies overall.
{Independent: Parts of Australia and all of New Zealand, Independent is not a faction big on war. Instead, they fortify their cities, threaten to launch the four nuclear missiles they have at anybody who attacks, and sit out the war.

1: No godmodding, no perfect characters, regular roblox rules, etc.
2: Admins are chosen for understanding the mechanics of how this works, there is no favoritism.
3: Complaining will not get you anywhere, trolls and flamers may complain all they want just to be ignored.
4: "It isn't in the rules!" will be ignored. If you can't do it, you can't do it.
5: All characters need to be accepted by myself or an admin before starting, I will post if the new-character starting location changes.
6: Death is possible, and NPCs are going to die a lot. If your character dies, make a new CS.
7: Some character classes have some amount of authority over NPCs, but only I or admins can actually control them.
8: There is no special code to put in Other. This is technically not a rule, only a statement.

{Starting area and current events: The roleplay starts in Germany, over a battle for territory and another urban area. Independent(faction) excursion forces are here, as well as two private militaries, one currently fighting for the Coalition, the other for Unity. Each side has a battle HQ, and that is where the roleplay will start off.

Trooper/Infantryman/Excursion trooper: TVL Assault rifle, AZK Precision rifle, QPR Sub-machine gun, JWB Shotgun, DVO Sniper rifle
Demolitions/Tech expert/Spy/Saboteur: AMI Energy pistol, SFK Lancer stealth blade, CJE Defensive pistol
Pilots/Vehicle operators: QPR Sub-machine gun, UHP Energy blaster
Commando/Squad captain: RXN Energy rifle, EIM Buster shotgun
Special operations trooper/Special forces: TCR Energy precision rifle, EIM Buster shotgun, WKD Experimental pistol
Officer: WKD Experimental pistol, SFK Lancer stealth blade
Sidearm(Choose any of these to go with your primary weapon, except for Demolitions-Saboteur, and Officer.): AMI Energy pistol, SVE Combat knife, CJE Defensive pistol

{Advanced equipment(WARNING, if you take an Advanced item then the only other thing you can take is a radio): Reflector bodysuit, bulletproof armor, pulse grenades, nanobot kit

{Comparing projectile weapons to energy weapons: The two are quite different in their own ways, energy weapons are experimental, while projectile weapons have been used for a long time and are at the stage where they are only being improved, but few actually new designs. Energy weapons will cut through bulletproof armor, but will simply bounce off or dissipate when it hits reflective armor. While projectile weapons can't damage anything wearing bulletproof armor, and will shatter reflective armor.
{Pros of energy weapons: Good damage compared to projectile weapons, high rate of fire in some weapons, some experimental weapons can recharge themselves. {Cons of energy weapons: Small charge capacity, not much availability.
{Pros of projectile weapons: Good ammo capacity compared to energy weapons, very available, and ammunition is easy to find. {Cons of projectile weapons: Some projectile weapons are not very accurate, some weapons can only take special clips, recoil may break the arm of somebody without experience and with weak arms.

Personality: Very humorous and outgoing; he likes to joke another everything. He is bold, which is a flaw due to his immediate acceptance for plans and actions including risks, no matter how mild or severe the consequences may be as a result of it. He often encourages his comrades and may get annoying sometimes.
Bio: At a young age it was clear he expressed an interest in the military; his parents disapproved of it and preferred he become a lawyer or doctor. Once he graduated high school, he enlisted in the military in the war and took a different course than the majority of the people who enlist. He went on a training course that included several years of, even by Unity Special force standards, harsh training, although it was relatively easy if you compare how both divisions train recruits. He was deployed in Germany with a fight against the Coalition.
Other: He is often lightly armored, wearing Unity Standard issue army uniforms and military boots. His messy dark brown hair has tufts that occasionally stick out awkwardly, and he has jagged scars on his back that is always covered, during his involvement in the battles in the banks of the Rhine. |

I only wanted to go for the Unity side because it had a Demolitionist. What's the closest thing related to it in Coalition.
We can't have everyone being a part of Unity, hah. |

Personality: Ryan has a slight attitude on him, due to years of experience. He is deafened by warfare from his previous years. He is quite aggressive and hates having to deliver youngsters around the area. He is outgoing and always takes orders very well.
Bio: Ryan was the first in his family's entire history, starting back from 2036 to join the military. He is of Australian decent, although the beginning members of his family were English. He was rather annoyed when Australia decided to stay out of the war, due to his experience he wanted to join the war, although he was forced by his commanding officer to stay in Australia, to drive from Checkpoints to check that special facilities were fine, and still operational.
Other: He wears the standard Australian military outfit, although he doesn't wear a helmet but a military baseball cap with the letters 'RM' engraved side by side, with the R to the left, and M to the right of the Australian flag. He has a black Knife holder attached to his leg, which he never takes off (even when asleep!). His Australian Army Humvee has four bullet holes on the back of the left side of the car, from a shootout with blanks with his old squadron. |

I sat in the back of the jeep, listening to the low hum of the engine. My buddies were just chatting, and one of them pointed at the HQ, still talking. The driver was just minding his own business, staring at the road. I swear he never blinked once, which was kind of creepy.
"Holy cow...it's bigger than the one we went to before the Rhine..."
I laughed, "Well, Dirtbag, this is the front lines now, so I guess they'll need a bigger HQ for that." Dirtbag isn't his real name, but it was a long story on how he got that name.
The driver suddenly talked, which was a relief. "We'll be at the HQ in three minutes, given time. I'll need to check in with the guards at the entrance." His voice was monotone-ish, which only made him more creepier. I sighed, slinging the rifle over my shoulder. |

[Raven] The driver stops just outside the building and talks with the gate guards. You hear several explosions in the distance, and something that sounds like a very large laser weapon being discharged. |
