America: Syria, we're going to go to war with you. Using chemicals on your people is wrong. Syria: Didn't you nuke Japan? |

@Lork, So war means kill civillians?
@Mexi, It's not about surrendering.
@Lork again. You killed more civillians than the japs done to you.
America just thinks it can get involved with everything. |

We CAN get involved in absolutely anything we want. We have the power, the money, and if you've been keeping up with current events, the will. You need to stop pretending like we can't. Before the civil war, we were hardly taken seriously as a major world power. America asserting itself around the world only makes sense considering what it had gone through the 100 years leading up to the civil war. And war is war. The concept of war is you hurt one of ours, we send one of yours to the morgue. You don't win wars by getting even, you win wars by making sure the person you're attacking doesn't get back up. Which is precisely what America did.

Both America and Syria make good points, but people are always going to do something someone else disapproves of, and there will always be conflict.
There is no point to America getting in anything, except to just be a referee and make the hard decisions.

@Lork, but some of the stuff has nothing to do with you. @Celtic. I agree with you.

It doesn't have to have anything to do with us. If the United States did absolutely nothing around the world, not a single country would take us seriously. We'd be a state who just sat off in the background while the big kids played
