You find out that your friend or sibling is responsible for a murder and that their alter ego's being pursued by the police. They killed a cannibal / killer / ra---- or whatever. They're essentially a vigilante.
Would you give them up to the police, despite knowing of their good intentions?
Believe it or not this question does have some relevance to the topic of this sub-forum. |

I would be confused and scared and wouldn't know what to do, but I would probably help them find a place they can go. Having committed murder would definitely change their life a lot.
And turning them into the police certaint wouldn't do anything good for them or anyone. |

no
if i walked by an alley around midnight and saw a woman being brutally stabbed
im gonna attack him
if he were to die unintentionally or not
being punished wouldnt make sense |

I would probably just ignore it, and it might pass by.
But, if not..THEN EXTREME CAUTION WILL BE TAKEN. |

Turning then in wouldnt even cross my mind. The whole idea of eye for an eye is just so totally wrong
I would probably try to help them because they're probably going through a lot of turmoil and problems. They're still a person.
And really really, it's all the circumstances. I can't say I would help any sibling in any situation, but I hope that they would deserve my help. |

Death isn't that scary and I'm pretty sure bad bad baddd people like that have accepted that its going to happen They probably don't even care, being dead and all.
There's more to stuff than just who the victim is and how they're the victim |

If the person was a psychopath, then yes.
Or
If there was a motive involved. |

I'm loving the responses, guys. I appreciate it. It's interesting to see everyones take on things, I agree with Gary and Leslie the most though.
"They killed someone, they should be punished."
I'll correct you: they killed someTHING.
Anyone that is willing to go to such extents to harm another individual deserves no sympathy regardless of their background.
It's the same as putting down a rabid animal.
I guess you could flip the thing around and argue that said vigilante going to such extremes deserves no sympathy regardless of their background, but given the circumstances I would say their actions are justifiable.
Here, I'll give you an example Mario: one of your siblings have been kidnapped, tortured, god knows what, and left in a ditch to rot-- the person guilty of the crime has escaped the eyes of justice as there is nothing that can link him to the crime-- but you're 100% certain it was him. What actions do you take?

I would go and kill him.
I mean there is a difference between justice and doing whats right. |

| I'd probably turn him over to the cops, unless he killed my middle brother, in which case I'd thank him. |
