Humanity future lay among the stars To unexplored voids, and new worlds unlike our own. But we withdrew from the challenge, and have yet to conquer Mars Hiding in orbit, of the only world we can call our own.
NASA is just a hollow shell of its Apollo years. Reminiscing, broken, wishing for its glory days But we have no money, yearly budget's got cut. NASA has fallen on hard days.
Now we've restricted ourselves to Earth, and let our spacecraft fall. To low orbit, building stations We nologner looked up, and our spirits kept falling And we did'nt look up as our stations orbited above us.
But what we seek is new worlds and lands How large this void is, we cannot comprehend But sometime in this century, we will go From world to world, spreading life when we can
But we're hunting still, down to machines Wondering about the worlds we have had of distant dreams
