Homework matters so much in high school apparently, it's like 25% of your overall grade in all classes
And they stress it even more when you're in an advanced class like Pre-AP/AP, TAG, or IB. |

When you're a freshman maybe As you go deeper into high school, your homework percentage decreases and your test percentage increases |

you seriously don't know how much my school district, and maybe most schools in the area, stress homework
i bet the importance of it decreases, but they still want you to do it and it will probably count for 10-20% and not 25% |

Sir, some of my classes freshman year had homework count for 35% of my grade your school district isn't special its just the way it works |

| because homework is what's eventually going to be on the test and it has to be a grade to make people do it |

No it would be worse because a test grade has a significantly greater impact on your average than a homework grade

| My science teacher doesn't gaf about tests, HW is like 30% of our grade, test are 10% |
