yes i played it idiot
it was pretty fun but most things aren't available right now, you can only tech up to T2 and battles are only able to be fought on one planet at a time atm.
it's worth buying once more features come out and the price drops to regular, it's at $69.99 atm for early access, since it's in alpha. |

| civ isn't real time. this is more like Empire at War except battles are happening constantly in real time rather than one at a time. |

>Do you get to annihilate planets?
yes, you can basically slingshot planets and asteroids at other planets and asteroids to destroy them, or build giant orbital cannons/lasers to prevent that from happening
>this or Rome 2?
rome 2, like i said PA is still in early alpha and you can't even tech past T2 let alone go into space and do a lot of the stuff in the trailer. |

1. how's the planetary generation engine at the moment
2. how different is naval and air battle from the ground or are they only distinguished by the terrain they fight over (if anything other than land units have been in the game so far)
3. gas giants/metal worlds when (and how)

1. how's the planetary generation engine at the moment
it looks pretty good from what i've seen, i'm in rome 2 atm and can't check more in detail
2. how different is naval and air battle from the ground or are they only distinguished by the terrain they fight over (if anything other than land units have been in the game so far)
i haven't based near water, yet, attacks are based on ground, air, or both right now. there are, for example, anti air bots and surface bombing airplanes.
3. gas giants/metal worlds when (and how)
metal planets are currently in the game, there's an option to generate a new planet to play on when starting a custom game
4. am i kawaii

oh and number 5
on moons/satellites, is there an incentive to build on them like exclusive resources or structures like planetary bombardment or is it only for AHAHAHAHAHA TIME FOR ASTEROIDS |

| like I said, you can't get to space right now, but if the dev's promises are delivered upon you can make bases on asteroids and new planets, as well as orbital weapons. i assume the purpose for basing on an asteroid will be to get metal, which is one of the two resources alongside energy |
