TL;DR: Adding a 9 digit randomized code that is required to log on on new IPs. This will be mail'd to you. PLEASE READ THE QC AND A BEFORE POSTING THOUGH.

This feature would counter almost all "hacks," scams, kl's, pg's, and many more in a simple, non hassle update.
So what it does it, when you sign on to your account from a new location (IP), it does not let you log on until you put in an 8 digit randomized code that is sent to your verified email. (This code changes every time you successfully log on to your account.)
You look over in your mail, new mail from ROBLOX stating the new code, you copy it, paste it in and bam, you're logged on. That computer is now on the trusted list and will never need the code UNLESS you specify this on signing on.

Questions/Concerns and Answers:

Q: I don't want this feature, this would ruin logging on on new computers.
A: A lot of people don't want to loose their account. If this feature would have been around in 2009, I would still have over 400k place visits and 300k in limiteds. This feature would be completely optional to use the security or not, under 'Account' it will say "Account Code, enabled or disabled."

Q: This would be easy to bypass, just keep trying till you get it.
A: Actually, it would take 8! tries, which means you need to try 40320 times to successfully get in. That could take months, but the time they log on successfully the code would have changed.

Q: What if I'm just a kid and don't have an email, or I don't want an email?
A: This feature will only be available to users who have a mail verified to their account.

Q: No support, TL;DR.
A: Read the QC and A, then you might understand.

We can get this feature added, just please, no rude comments below. If you like my idea, stating Support would be fantastic.

Why couldn't it be easier for you to create the code all by yourself?

...Oh, right yes, I support too.

I support, but the default should be off.

2 things I take issue with:

1. People "lose" their account, not "loose" it. "Loose" is the opposite of "tight."

2. It would be 10^8 times, not 8! possible combinations. There are 8 number slots, and each slot can be filled by one of ten digits, 0-9. 8! would be if you had the digits 0-7 once each and had to make combinations with those. Since a digit can be used multiple times, it would be 10^8 possibilities, not 8!.

After 10 failed attempts or so, there should be a captcha code to prevent bots, though.

Half support. I no longer know how to access my verified mail. Maybe a notification telling you your code and then telling you to put in your diary or something, then once the note is read it is deleted.

At first I thought it would be snail mailed to you, oh jeez. :P
I was thinking more like a 4 digit number, because nine digits is a bit much, don't you think?

If it was a single code that never changed, it would be easy to keep trying till you get it. Maybe this could be an option? Mail or Single Code?

@Irregular

It is 8 digits long and the reason for that is, if it 4 digits, it would take 24 tries to get it right. 5 digits would be 120 and so on. I think 8 is a good length because you just need to copy/paste it from your mail. I guess if there is an option to have it a single code, then you can choose the length if it is 5 digits+.

@Lego

Forgot to respond to yours. If it is the mail option, then it changes every time someone successfully logs on. You ONLY get the code if you log on from a new location. If someone asks for the code, YOU don't even know it unless we have this next option.. I actually prefer just having mail, but what the masses want is what the masses will get.
